well you are a bit overly sensetive dude. But racist is wrong because the people cant help being that race. Homophobia is not a person fault or problem just like arachinphobia or any other.

Maybe "offended" was the wrong word... Hmm... it makes me angry to see people discriminating against other people for something they can't help? That's the best I can describe it.

Sorry, but being afraid of other humans (with the exception of murderers, rapists, people like that) is not justifiable in the same way arachnaphobia is. It's entirely different. There is nothing in the human mind that justifies being afraid of somebody because of their sexuality. It's just society that does it.

Homophobia is wrong because gay people can't help their sexuality. No different from racism.

I just dont really think that making fun of them is gonna help the situation very much.

Take my dad for example. Of course my mom had a field day over his displeasure, but it just goes to show where i was coming from. thats why i siad they had it good. cuz rich gay PPl like rosie odonell for exapmle, can just break up and tell somebody to "get the hell on" and not have to worry about going to court. unless we're talking about pal-imony, but that's harder to get than if it was a legitimate marriage. soooooooo maybe that can shed some light on what i meant

Gay people are the same as straight people. I used to date girls in high school, I slept with them, I cared about them. But they just didn't do it for me. Who is another human being made of flesh and blood to tell me they are better than me. Odds are I'm smarter, more attractive and have a whole lot more going for me than a lot of the people who would bash me because I *GOD FORBID!* slept with someone of the same sex *GOD FORBID!*.

I work for a great company that is established in over 30 countries around the world, I'm one of the youngest people to EVER occupy my position. I've worked my ass off and sweat just like the straight people I work with.

And whom ever it was that said quite a few pages back that these discussions always end in religion: People who use religion as a crutch because they can't think for themselves are entitled to do so. But, if god is your crutch...shouldn't it be up to him to judge me? If you feel that god will make me burn in hell for all eternity, then shouldn't that be enough satisfaction for you? Why make life difficult for me in the here and now?

I have to disagree with that link...

It is the persons decision to dress and act the way they want...

If they are gay, straight, bi, whatever...

Just because I am gay, doesn't mean I act like a flamer...just my choice I guess

Not all gay men speak with a lisp or pluck their eyebrows. Just like everyone, the guys on Queer Eye have an opinion; everyone is entitled to their opinion. You can agree with that opinion or not. Me, yeah I shop at Express and Banana Republic. I also change my own oil and collect Star Wars figures. I’ve never plucked my eyebrows and I dress like a lot of other gay men. (not when I’m changing my oil…which I HATE to do…in fact it’s the only thing besides where to put the gas in that I DO know about cars) But, I have no problem with those that do. To say they give all gay men a bad name is kind of harsh. Unlike most gay men, I don’t have a lot of female friends. All my friends are guys, either straight or gay. And a lot of my gay male friends fit this description, and I would die to defend their right to be who they are….who is worth changing for? No one. Who is worth pretending for? No one. And the same with girls that like to fix cars and play football. They do those things because it makes them who they are.

As for Queer Eye and shows like Queer As Folk, I don’t watch that trash. That does nothing but cause straight people like you to view us as some stereotype-fulfilling, circus act. That does nothing to help in equality. These straight guys go on Queer Eye for a reason. I prefer shows like Six Feet Under, where there are gay characters and gay themes, but they are not the point of the show. You can’t pick and choose who are acceptable human beings and who are not.

I don't think there's anything wrong with being gay or lesbian, but I really think that nobody was BORN gay, is like liking ice cream: chocolate or vanilla, is just tastes, and i think straightess is more common for only one reason, first thing the man saw a girl so when they had children they made the same and so on, so i think that someone can 'grow out' of being gay or as well u can b staright and then start liking men 😉
