Defiantly. Comic book films have given us some of the worst disappointment's in film history. Someone finally found a decent formula that works, let's hope they go one further now, and give us the complete essence of the comics themselves. This has happened only a few times in comic movies, every time of which the movies were very successful.

Blah!Give me batman anyday!JM

You need to get your head checked for bugs if you think Catwoman was good.

You know this thread was made by the original thread starter over 4 months ago and that person is not even partipating in this discussion anymore so WHY are people still responding to this thread? 🙄

Doesn't matter, really, and I'd pose the same question to you. Personally, I've never had the displeasure of seeing "Catwoman", so naturally I can't offer an opinion outside of pure negative speculation, which there seems to be a lot of.

I can answer your question. Because, we don't need the original starter of the thread to comment on how good (or bad) we thought catwoman was.

And for the record, the movie was real good and I plan on buying the dvd when it comes out too.

Catwoman is the story of shy, sensitive artist Patience Philips (Halle Berry), a woman who can’t seem to stop apologizing for her own existence. She works as a graphic designer for Hedare Beauty, a mammoth cosmetics company on the verge of releasing a revolutionary anti-aging product. When Patience inadvertently happens upon a dark secret her employer is hiding, she finds herself in the middle of a corporate conspiracy. What happens next changes Patience forever. In a mystical twist of fate, she is transformed into a woman with the strength, speed, agility and ultra-keen senses of a cat. With her newfound prowess and feline intuition, Patience becomes Catwoman, a sleek and stealthy creature balancing on the thin line between good and bad. Like any wildcat, she’s dangerous, elusive and untamed. Her adventures are complicated by a burgeoning relationship with Tom Lone (Benjamin Bratt), a cop who has fallen for Patience but cannot shake his fascination with the mysterious Catwoman, who appears to be responsible for a string of crime sprees plaguing the city.

Holy shit. Only thing that this movie has common with the comic is the name...I've seen bad comic book adaptations, but this makes Batman & Robin look like an oscar winner. I've never seen so "impurrfect" film.

I just wonder what drug they used to make Halle Berry want to come in this movie.

Who did this movie? A couple of hermits from mountains?

Now I've seen everything.

Saw the trailer, imminent failure ahead.
Exactly what I thought. And it did fail, quite miserably, in fact.

Well, I thought the movie was just as good as some and better than many, and it comes out today, and I am going to buy it and watch it over and over.

imo it sucked badly, mostly because they didnt stay true to the character, that type of character is one halle berry should definitely never play, after she made the movie and it flopped horribly she said "after this, my superhero days are over" although the best character she's ever played in her whole career was storm and coincidently its the only one she complained about. Anyway the director just basically wanted to have the suit and not the catwoman character at all....her name wasnt even selena kyle

and yes, this is all my opinion

I am not trying to offend anybody when I respond to this stuff (most of the time), so don't get offended.

The reason the character wasn't named Selena Kyle in this movie, is because they wanted to make their own Catwoman, the Catwoman in this movie, Patience Philips, is a whole other person from Selena Kyle, they are two different people. Just thought that I would clear that up.

From what I heard, Halle Berry, said she hopes they get to make a sequel to this movie, because she would definitely replay her role as Catwoman again.

why would Halle Berry want to punish us again?

It has nothing to do with Halle, she was awesome in the movie and worked with what she had to work with, it is the directors and other people who you can give the blame for "punishing" you, because they made and created the movie, and if anything, Halle, made the movie better than it would have been. And I think the movie is good anyway

Then why in name of Batman they named it "Catwoman" and made it with DC? I didn't understand why tho make movie about Catwoman anyway? She is not that popular.

DarkCrawler, your response is coming out of nowhere, I don't see how it is relevent to anything, maybe you can clarify it more better or have a quote from the message you are responding too with it.

Catwoman the movie.. is the worst catwoman movie ever

I'm a big fan of catwoman, and this was not very good at all.

Maybe that's amusing in some other dimension, but in this one, not so much.
