Oh, okay - it wasn't anything I was upset about, just setting the record straight that I wasn't the one who brought it up. I doubt that's an aspect I'd ever incorporate into a fic anyhow - just doesn't really do a thing for me, even if it might be realistic. I'm pretty wild but I do have limits.
Your sister is a brave one - I think I'd rather die than practice any branch of medicine in NYC. Imagine all the loons you'd have to deal with; I'm not real keen on dealing with homeless people and all that, nor would I enjoy being spit on, attacked etc. I know they'll make me do a stint in the ER during clinicals sometime soon, but this place is considerably tamer than NYC. [I live near the Florida panhandle.]

You gonna tell me that Jennifer Garner knows one god damn thing about the Elektra character that wasn't in her script? No friggen way. She should stick to being a "jet setter" in crappy movies/tv shows and stay away from long established and MEANINGFUL comic character vehicles.
Paola, yeh, you should have been Elektra. This movie really looks bad, and has gotten panned in reviews. Garner doesn't seem to change expressions once...too bad; she looks good in all other respects. The plot is dumb- an accomplished assassin accepts a target with NO info given- and then discovers she has morals that prevent her from hitting certain targets, and this one happens to fall into that category? WTF? I mean, most people do a little soul-searching before they choose a career! Horrible writing! I'm waiting for video.
