About a symbiote affecting aging...
I've always ASSUMED that having one linked to your metabolism would slowly burn you out WHILE keeping you healthy... meaning you'd feel like you were 70 when you were in your 50's after wearing it for too long.
It HAS been established, (in the cartoons anyways), that the Venom symbiote is capable of bonding with it's host on a molecular level... meaning it has near total/total control over it's hosts cell's and such... so it might be capable of slowing down a hosts' aging processes, but ultimately since they feed on adrenaline, (supposedly...), it'd still run you rampant trying to keep itself "fed".

However, it's open to interp, and certainly, if your sym was having "chemical imbalances" such as lacking phen or jonesing much for adrenalin, yeh, there'd be psychological attrition for the host, at a minimum. I think, before the change in charactorization for the V sym (which my fan fic will NOT reflect), the Venom of 2100 (or whatever year) had made reference to Eddie having an extended life, but finally failing. Now, obviously, that's not how 616 is currently headed!

Orange does have a fic at Superstories, probably the best there. Most are mysogynistic crap. His takes some obvious liberties with the likely responsiveness of Weying's body (lightly touching provoking endless O's? We only wish! More like thirty minutes of studious work!). However, that's more than justified by the frankly wanktastic overall (dare-I-say-it?) "thrust" (heheheh) of the story's intentions.
