Thats just it, the symbiote changed its appearence after it left Brock. I think its supposed to symbolize how much the symbiote has changed, personality wise, when compared to it's orgin/earlier issues. The symbiote has become a much darker and 'eviler' character than it originally was. The new appearence reflects that well, I think.

I appreciate the effort, but please stop posting Seperation Anxiety pics. Infact, talk about something constructive.For instance, do some research to see if there are any comic titles with Venom coming out.

I agree. It's just "evolving" or growing as a result of its experiences. And everyone will agree, I'm sure that the Venom of today is a far cry from the original. Less human and considerably larger. USM, SSM and Tsunami's versions of Venom are perfect examples.
Dan-El--MKS' introduction of Venom was drawn by Frank Cho, who had conceptualized a much more brutish and muscular physique well over a decade before MK began. I think this (attached) was drawn about 1991 or 1992, if I recall correctly, and is a kind of prophetic work by Cho, who envisioned a primitive and much more gnarly Venom long before we began discussing him here.
Robo--Yes, the Separation Anxiety pics got very old for me well over a year ago, but the interest in them continues unabated. I haven't posted any for about a year, and I shall not be posting any in the future.

This is probably my favorite Spider-Man/Venom/Carnage scene. I guess its my favorite because it's the first time the three of them stand in the same room together, the first time Spidey and Venom team up, and the first time Carnage single-handedly best them on his own. To me, it's a pretty powerful image of how truly difficult Carnage was in defeating, and how hard both Spidey and Venom had to work together to do so. I just figured I'd share this scene with everyone.
Alright everybody, it’s time to unveil (well at least sort of) my big project, the “Symbiote Encyclopedia”. The following link is to the website I’ve finally begun production on and acts as a bit of a preview. There is only one page available right now, but when I find a decent (hopefully good) host and have more done, I’ll let y’all know.

As I was saying, the available page gives a taste of what’s to come (as even this page isn’t 100% done. I still need to add information relating to the Venom limited series). Though as time goes on, I plan on including the following:
• Detailed character profiles of every Symbiote as well as host and various versions (Example, 616 Venom, Ultimate Venom, What If..!? variations cartoon variations, ect.), as well as characters that are closely tied to the Symbiotes, such as the Xenophage, for example.
• Complete appearance guide, showing every comic (in chronological order) that a Symbiote has ever appeared in.
• An explanation/analysis on all of the Symbiotes’ abilities, history and whatnot (This will also include fan beliefs/theories as well).
• Fanart and Fanfic galleries (hopefully from regularly sending writers).
Let me know what you guys think so far, good or bad. I’m open to all criticism.

When I get around to it, I'm going to eventually draw profile pictures (like the Venom one that has the front, side, and back shots, taken from The Official Marvel Handbook Master Edition) for the characters who don't already have one.

Who here is disappointed with the way they portrayed the Symbiote in the teaser, I know as an Animator myself, as well as a fan, that it just looks horrible. The texture was all wrong, the lines of the web and spider were raised surfaces, the sipder was not white, basicly his standard costume tossed into a bucket of black dye. The animation of it moving on its own was easily 4 years old, nonfluid dynamic properties, so on. I realise it is only a teaser and hope for a much improved final product for the film, but I am worried, especially what they did to the Xmen Last Stand. Take a beloved character and ruin it so completly they can no longer be taken seriously.
