i did this huge report on The Truth and what it's message is to todays youth.
I don't particularly agree with some of their advertising against marijuana use. For example. I don't know anyone dumb enough to get lit in a drive thru and then take off out of the drive through into traffic without checking both directions.
And picking up a gun and blowing your brains out "just because you're high" doesn't make any sense to me. Being high doesn't make you lose all common sense.
But I do enjoy their attack against tobacco companies. Especially their body bag commercial. where they stack up the body bags in that open lot.
The Truth Campaigns are a big hoax. The tobacco companies love anti smoking ads because it triggers smokers into wanting a smoke. For instance, I was sitting here minding my own business, checking out the forums, NOT even thinking about having a cigarette, now since I found this thread I just have to have one. The Truth my ass! 😬
You know, WindDancer, I cannot see in what way, telling people that tobacco companies produce product that killes 440,000 Americans a year, 1, 200 Americans a day and 50 Americans per hour would make you want to have a cigarette.
I mean, seriously, if that makes you wanna smoke, then why not try cocain, heroin, why not eat rat poison, since that kills you too!
