if you cant sleep here are some tips
Use your bedroom only for sleep and sex.
It is best to take work materials, computers and televisions out of the sleeping environment. Use your bed only for sleep and sex to strengthen the association between bed and sleep. If you associate a particular activity or item with anxiety about sleeping, omit it from your bedtime routine. For example, if looking at a bedroom clock makes you anxious about how much time you have before you must get up, move the clock out of sight. Do not engage in activities that cause you anxiety and prevent you from sleeping.
sometimes if I know I am tired and need to sleep but can't because of worry/stress and thoughts running through my mind I lay completely flat on my bed then I tense and untense each part of my body starting from the top and working my way down... thats a good relaxation technique. ✅
Sometimes I read.
If I know I'm not gonna get back to sleep then I'll go on the computer.. but only if my sister is awake as the comp is in her room...
or I'll listen to music like some classical stuff.. that always helps me relax. 🙂
