Supporting The "Bad Guys"

I always go for the good guys (except when we're talking about Doom or Thanos).

I really don't know why I should cheer for some crazy, violent, megalomaniac supervillain (who in most cases isn't half as smart as he thinks he is and hides behind some stolen alien technology) who tries to destroy Earth just because he's a nitwit. No thank you.

Good guys kick ass 😛.

The reason I back villans some of the times is because the heroes tend to play with different rules than everyone else.... Let me explain what I mean by this. It sometimes seems that heroes are expemt from the law, while villans often have their rights violated. Most heroes are nothing but vigalanties (except for groups such as the Avengers/JLA which are goverment sanctioned). I am sorry but if I went out and started beating up crimenals, I would end up in jail. At one time or another a hero has broken a law and yet has never been arrested for it (an example of this was when Spiderman attacked JJJ causing him to have a hearth attack, and nothing happened, no arrest warrents, no nothing). There have also been cases where a hero has attacked the wrong person by mistake without any concequences. If cops can get into trouble for using excessive force, why the hell can heroes get away with some of the things they do.

But what really annoys me is when heroes try and impose thier ideas on others (the FF used to even go to other planets/dimensions imposing thier ideas of wright and wrong on other societies), not to mention thier total disregard for the laws of other countries of the world. There are even times that they instigate a fight with villans when they have done nothing wrong. At times like these it is the "Villans" who are wronged and I end up supporting them.

P.S. Have you noticed how they sometimes soften up some villans when they become popular so that they are less "evil" and move a little more closer to the side of good.... Now that really annoys me 😠

reminds me of the juggernaut.... hes such a puss now

Makes me think of the possible discussion regarding power and totalitarian rule, vs free spirit.

Then I think the thread will go nowhere. HULK SMASH.

No no no... DEADPOOL SMASH! :: Issue #4 cover ::

Badguys are so much cooler then good guys... usualy. They just dont act all high and mighty! cept doom, but doom's got style. And suave. You can't buy suave.

But the same goes for the villains. At least, the heroes - even though they may be wrong - act because they believe they're doing the right thing, and because they believe it's for the best.

Villains don't. They are only interested in me, myself and I.

I don't know, but Spider-Man has been wanted by the police countless of times. Of course he's never been arrested (not that I know of), because trying to arrest a superhero and actually putting him behind bars are two completely different stories. Lots of heroes have been wanted by the police.
There have also been cases where a hero has attacked the wrong person by mistake without any concequences. If cops can get into trouble for using excessive force, why the hell can heroes get away with some of the things they do.

You forget these situations are very exceptional. Anybody can make mistakes. Nobody said a hero is without faults.

True, Reed Richards doesn't care much about alien laws or foreign cultures. But, again, he tries to do what he thinks is right. And that's important. That IS the whole idea of being a hero.

So ? I don't mind. Just because at that specific time a villain wasn't building a robot army to conquer the world or wasn't robbing a bank, you have to say : hey look, it's (insert any villain here), but it seems today he's on holiday, so just let's leave him alone. Yeah right, let's kick his ass !!
P.S. Have you noticed how they sometimes soften up some villans when they become popular so that they are less "evil" and move a little more closer to the side of good.... Now that really annoys me 😠

Yeah I know, that's an old trick. I don't like it any more than you do.

mmm i do agree i know this is of topic but this reminds me of when i used to watch StarTrek exspecially shows like Enterprise or voyager where the crew try to change others races culture just becase they dont agree with them. 😉

And that can sometimes be a mistake on the so-called hero's part. Hell, attack someone like Juggernaut while he's just having a beer and tryin to get some booty, and you may just end up with a bar on your head.😉

Yeah, ask Colossus 😉.

the one reason i trluy like villains(not necessarily more than heroes) is b-cuz it makes you go,"what ever happened to just plain old crazy"

usually whenever a good guy gets into the good guy business its usually b-cuz his family got killed and he wants to rid the world of evil, blah blah blah. but baddies never have those hard luck stories, its usually more like i lost my job, or a guy who i am just as smart as, always gets a head of me.........and the girl. which leads to........lets go kill a bunch o PPl. thats just awesome man.

plus i really really sympathize w/magneto cuz he's a holocaust survivor, and he just wants to kill all the aryans for what they did to his PPL. aahhhhhh......good ol poetic justice

So, let me get this straight : you sympathize with Magneto because he's a holocaust survivor and because he wants to kill all the arians (strictly speaking, it should be Nazis) for what they did to his people, but at the same time, you sympathize with some dumb f*** who decides "to go kill a bunch of people" just because he can't get the girl he wants ?!?

Apples and oranges, my friend.

like i said it makes you go,"what ever happened to plain old crazy?"

as well as the rest of humanity? ahh, i see.

of course he doesnt actually come out and say that but you know thats what the som'***** is thinking. *lol*

there's a flipside to this, namor in his first few appearances went on a rampage and mercilessly killed hundreds of people in new york. Magnetos killed plenty of people too, especially when he sank the leningrad and when he created EM pulses. i find it hard to root for them.

as for the x-men, the page from Marvels describes them best. in case you haven't seen it, they (the original five in yellow and blue) save a mutant girl and are confronted by an angry mob in a dark ally. the only light comes from cyclops' visor. he just stares at the people and says "forget it, they aren't worth it"

I almost always back the villain, and I don't really know how to explain why. Heroes just kinda aggrivate me alot.

Glenn Talbot,Lex Luthor,Joker and Green Goblin are the"bad guys".so what do you think about these four forces of evils?

They ant BAD guys, There just misunderstood.

Well Luthor's pretty much the corrupt businessman type, doubt he's actually evil. Joker's just a damn psycho, ain't nothin misunderstood about him, he'll kill because it's funny. Green Goblin, well, maybe you can say Norman's other personality is evil, but it's debatable I guess. Don't know too much about Talbot, I'd say the extreme military type though.

Well I ant all bad so I went with something more good, I suppose, Of couse I get bored with these Fraggles, and Good old Joker will be back lol.

But all in all Joker ant all bad, he had a wife did he not? lol
