I said that Nirvana were the biggest band at the time, which is the truth. I never said they were the best, I don't think they were.

Thats arguable, they were unquestionably one of the biggest, but The Beatles, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Duran Duran...all huge bands, all as big if not bigger than Nirvana.
