on a serious note, from what i've heard and other people on this forum have heard he gets his powers AFTER using some dark power during a scuffle with someone and he looks like that from then on.

I reckons its after mace confronts him...around then'ish

i don't actually have a theory formulated on this yet but if you look at palps his look is not the look of any burning melting etc which i feel rules out the theory of lightning attack it is definatly ageing maybe in that ruck with yoda yoda diminishes palps ability to be able to mascarade and can only make it possible for him to appear in his true form

however off topic that chestplate thing was something i wanted brought to my attention.....think it's real fake but....

my bet is on yoda rather than mace, although before the macallum quote i thought the big reveal would take place during the mace scene......because it's the big reveal....

That chest plate looks like a blue peter job to me sticky back plastic black paint etc and a bunch of gullables to fall for it recipe complete
