The Dumbest/Stupidest Movies You've Seen/Turned Off

MArs Attacks

i believe mars attacks was great: aliens, death rays, exploding heads, jack nicholson, and of course...
"It's not unusual to be loved by anyone, da dadada da"

Hero, pure and utter crap.
Crouching tiger ripoff fights that r useless, poorly developed characters that all kill themselves in the end (not to be mistaken thats not exactly why, its just they did it in the stupidest ways " i let you impale me to show you i love you"😉, and that stupid color theme thing

Dreamcatcher
The Core
Hellboy
Coffee and Cigarettes
Gosford Park

I really liked Hellboy... 😕

Dreamcatcher was a piece of sh*t though.

Well, "Dreamcatcher" was just a messy movie with too many elements. It was part Horror, part Sci-Fi, part Drama, and all uncomfortable.

"Hellboy" was fun for me, personally. "Coffee and Cigarettes" was an idea that worked in some interviews, and some didn't. You just ahd to either know or care for the people talking. That said, Bill Murray with RZA & GZA? That was classic.

"Hero", I don't remember well, although I own it. Wu xia fights are deriviative, it comes with the territory, and to dislike a movie because of that means you can't be much of a fan of the genre's other, infintely better offerings like "Iron Monkey" or "House of Flying Daggers", which also had a tear-enducingly beautiful color scheme gimmick that totally worked.

"Hero" was along the same lines, especially in the regard of incredible cinematography and vibrant color. The irony in the ending of the film

Spoiler:
was that Nameless supposedly killed all the king's adversaries, and was summoned to tell the Emporer his story when in actuality the Emporer foiled his plan, Nameless walked off knowing he was defeated, and so there was a poetic and suggestive ending to the film.

Dying with honor, but maybe some shame.

Luckily, I never saw these movies, but they are pure bullshit

omg! me too! they're like... trying to be ghetto, and trying too hard to do it. i watched a little bit of you got served, and 8 mile. and i just shook my head most of the time 😆

ok,

Sin city did not appeal to me, I could not tell where the hell it was going...

Hero drove me crazy i felt the same way, and plus the weird screams didn't serve any justice...

and Cyborg, the worst Van damme movie I have ever seen...
if friggin blows, its no Bloodsport, thats for shure.

You mean you did or didn't like "Bloodsport"? "Sin City" was a collection pulp/noir short stories that ultimately died everyone's story together. Pretty straight forward, IMO.

I did like it.

it is one of my favorite movies, IMO van dammes best.
and the fact that it was based of a true story, that just boost's the movies popularity and likeleness.

EDIT: the only part of "sin city" that appealed to me was jessica alba.

Oh, good. "Bloodsport" is a little cheesy at times, but I think it's underappreciated, and a personal favorite.
