Spike's STARGATE: ALPHA - Mission 1.2

ok, since we're all here I'll go check the door... Kael and Steve get ready to go through...

Steve will compose himself to the calm Goa'uld guard stance.

OK, through the door you look left and there's another door, no pillars in front of this one, there's the usual black marble effect and it seems to stand out slightly

ok... let's go.. Steve, Kael move to that door... me and Marxus will watch the corridor...

OK Steve and Kael have moved to the door, you guys ready to open it?

yep, i'll open the door.

OK you open the door and a young-ish man, about mid-twenties stands before you. He is garbed in lots of gold and black. It's fairly obvious that he's the leader of the ship. At either side of the room are two guards, they're wearing a silver version of the outfit that the Goa'uld is wearing - his personal bodyguards. They suddenly aim their staffs at you. The man in gold turns around...

Andrei and Marxus, behind you and from the corridor in front of you (from both sides they're coming behind Steve and Kael as well) come alot of guards, some in a black version of the outfit (none wearing masks) and others in the armour of various other goa'uld. They all aim their staffs at you.

"I have to say that you took your time." The goa'uld says, "I am Memphis, now would you be kind enough to introduce yourselves?" He asks politely, almost unexpected.

###Now there will be no fighting here, Kael in particular 'caus I know you'll want to just shoot him, just try and talk###

Andrei and Marxus, you are bought forwards into the control room with the others.

My name is Kael, Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.

"Yes, but it was not I who killed them." He turns and walks away a bit, "Do you know who it was who murdered them?"

"no, but i have heard alot of rumors and they all point to you!"

"You should not believe all that you hear. I killed no-one..." he pauses then turns back to you to face both Kael and Steve, "Remove your helmets, let me see your faces"

"my rumors were from a reliable source. I don't believe you for a second, you killed my familiy" he takes a deep breath, and starts to get annoyed "Why should i believe what you say? Who are you? i will not take this helmet off until you answer my questions"

You do realise that you have a ton of guards pointing their staffs at you who are ready to kill you without warning if you threaten their master don't you tom?

Of course i do.

One of the guards powers up his staff, but Memphis raises a hand and he stands down.

"You know I could have killed you the moment that you came aboard, but I didn't. I wanted to see what you could do....and you all exceeded my expectations" He sighs, "You do not need to take your helmet off, but I would prefer that you did so so that we could talk face to face"

It's odd, even though he is a Goa'uld he seems to be treating you like equals.

takes off his helmet "you should be honered to see my face"

Andrei makes a quick assesment of the situation...

"What is it u are after ?"

"Ah right to the point, I like that. I propose a truce. Between me and your races. Help me defeat Anubis and I will give you whatever it is that you need...but I must warn you, if you do not accept you must be prepared to face the consiquences" Memphis says now acting like a true Goa'uld

"can we have one of your ships?"

"If that is what you wish then yes"
