"Watch out!" Harry roared.
As he yelled this, another hit him on the chest. There was no lasting damage; the armor and its permanent Protego Charm had softened it. Still, if felt like a very hard punch, enough to make Harry stagger.
A wild green jet of light struck the person beside Harry in the upper arm, and they staggered right into Harry's back.
"Are you okay?" Harry asked the anonymous friend, who was weilding a green Marathia Sword.
"Fine." Neville's voice grunted.
Before either of them could say more, Snape pulled them aside to avoid four more bright green beams.
"The giants, they're getting closer to the main gate!" Parvati warned.
Snape ducked a green jet and glanced over the parapet.
"Their feet! Aim for their feet!"
Harry saw that the armour for the giants and trolls were indeed bare at the feet.
"Burn their feet!" he bellowed at his fellow companions. "Go for their feet!"
The students responded as one, and shot a vast barrage of ethereal fire and Selphius arrows at their feet; the reaction was loud and devastating for the opposition.
The whole front line of giants had their feet savagely mauled, and they toppled, screaming their rage and pain. The massive weight of their bodies was enough to unintentionally crush the inferiorly small gremlins who had been foolish enough to travel in their wake.
Then Harry happened to look up, and he saw several figures on brooms.
"Death Eaters!" He cautioned everyone.
Several of his nearest allies shot spells, but the unknown Death Eaters were swift and skilled flyers, and dodged their spells. Harry saw them draw their wands in unison, and shoot huge ultramarine orbs; however, these were not aimed at the defenders directly; they were shooting toward the base of the wall.
"Oh, no." Harry said.
