Further than the 7?

Throughout the course of reading the 5th book, i had a slight epiphany; if they were discussing careers for the future, and that in the finale battle either one had to die, wouldnt it be probable that rowling would take it past his 7th and final year? i mean no 7th year hogwarts student would defeat the ultimate dark lord once you think about it

Also, he wants to be an AUROR...a dark wizard catcher...maybe he'll end up being greater than moody. I mean, maybe the 8th book could be about all 3 of them, at their jobs, maybe a year or two after hogwarts, back in the times of turmoil like in past years of you know who...i mean honestly...when you think about it...how can she cram all the climactic scenes and events into 2 books? i know they're going to be big..but really...any suggestions? Comments?

she said the might be an epiogle at the end of book 7

i dont know...i mean if theres an epilogue, then will it be about harry ron and hermione AFTER YNW's demise? or when he kills him, and if it IS indeed about him killing YKW, then wouldnt it have to be longer? 😕

well not really, I mean she could skip a few years and show how everyone lives there lives like a little paragraph for everyone whose still there (that was depressing. . )

I don't think that there is going to be a epilogue.
She already admitted that the last word of the book was going to be scar. Don't recall it exactly, but something about looking in the and seeing no more scar.

I dont think he will die, but i do think he will loose a lot of the people he loves and be very lonely at the end. Thats the tragedy to the story xx

What Jk is worried about, I guess , as every good writer that has started something extraordinary is how to finish the book. Finishing a book might be the most difficult part of a serial book. So I don't think she is trying to get clues how to continue the serial, rather I would say she concentrates how to finish it.

She can off course write new books about Hogwrats, the wiz community ect.... but as for HP I think her headack is how to close the thing down
