hmmm,....now im all wound up...oy when does book 6 come out? im an interview with jk she said she always leaves clues in the previous book as to what will happen in the next...any ideas?

I think the scar will be there even after voldy dies, and if Harry survives, he is gojing to carry that scar for good

yes its a link but it doesnt mean that if the scar is there it means voldemort is a live...its only work is whit the emotion of bouth.....to perseve if one close to him or not........a scar always stay in here place...and if it vanish, how can J.K.R. got another book (7) if voldy die on the 6 and the scar dissapier????

I agree with LadySlytherin, I think that if Voldemort dies and Harry lives, then the scar will disappear. I think a part of Voldemort went into Harry the night that the curse bounced off of him, and the only way that Voldemort can truly be killed is if Harry kills that part that is inside him as well, hence destroying the scar.
I think the scar just has too much of Voldemort in it. In a way it is like a door that Voldemort can use to acess Harry's thoughts... like the dream in OOTP, and it's like a little aeriel that picks up fluctuations in Voldemort's feelings... The scar would pretty much be nothing if it Voldemort died...

i dont no. i think JKR could go either way. she could make the scar vanish because of wut row said, or i think she could keep the scar. sort of as a symbol.

I may get hated for this, but I actually hope Harry dies...All of you seem prone for him living at the end of book sevon, but I hope him and Voldemort kill eachother, or he kills voldemort, then someone kills him....It is not that I don't like Harry, but for some reason, I want a sad ending....Sort of like he was destined to vanquish the dark lord, at the cost of ones life...So I have my fingers crossed for Harry's demise.
