The Toby/Kendra thing was interesting when it happened, but it's the same as all the other couples. We never saw them! Just like Jimmy, they never had a story! All we ever saw was Ellie/Sean hogging up the stage, another reason why I absolutly HATE these 2 together. Not because of Emma, but the fact that they seem to have a "perfect" relationship with no problems at all. Geez, even Paige and Spinner have had problems they've gone through.Even this season, so far Jimmy and Hazel have YET to have a good story and they seem to be the only couple that is going out.

Toronto, Ontario (October 4, 2004) - A school shooting that ends in tragedy is the climax of a shocking two-part episode of Degrassi: The Next Generation beginning tomorrow on CTV. Airing in its 8:30 p.m. ET time slot, Tuesday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 12, what begins as a relentless case of student harassment and bullying inevitably turns into a tragic school shooting at Degrassi. For the first time in its franchise history, a Degrassi regular is killed at the hands of violence in the school.
Described by co-producers Linda Schuyler and Stephen Stohn as "the most troubling episode ever to script, shoot and edit," the episode entitled Time Stands Still offers a very sad, dramatic, but realistic conclusion to an on-going story arc featuring student-on-student harassment.
To help create an authentic portrayal of a bullying environment, producers called upon renowned parenting expert and bullying specialist, Barbara Coloroso. Coloroso, who serves as an educational consultant for various school districts, is the author of several parenting books on topics related to this shocking Degrassi storyline. Coloroso also lent her expertise when she helped steer CTV's Signature drama Tagged: The Jonathan Wamback Story.
Degrassi is currently featured in the October 1 issue of Entertainment Weekly, adding to a long list of U.S. publications paying attention to the show. The series has been mentioned in various other publications for Degrassi's American broadcaster, The N, including Teen People, The Washington Post and the New York Times.
In Time Stands Still, Part One (Oct. 5 at 8:30 p.m. ET)
Rick (Ephraim Ellis) returns to Degrassi, but his violent attack on Terri is still fresh in the memory of the students. Seeing him at school again is more than Spinner (Shane Kippel), Jay (Mike Lobel) and Alex (Deanna Casaluce) can handle. They hate him for what he did, and aren't afraid to let him know that he's not welcome. And though the school's administration has told them there's nothing they can do about it, people just aren't willing to let it rest. The treatment they're giving him is turning into bullying, and Rick's not sure how much more he can take. As the episode draws to its conclusion, Rick is the victim of an ultimate plan to humiliate him in front of the entire school.
In Time Stands Still, Part Two (Oct. 12 at 8:30 p.m. ET)
Rick returns to school humiliated after the incident, intent on confronting his tormentors. Toby (Jake Goldsbie) tries to convince him to take the afternoon to cool off, but an oddly calm Rick chooses to stay - he's not going to let them get away with what they did to him. He's got a gun, and they've pushed him too far. When Rick overhears Jay and Spinner talking about him, it's enough to trigger a horrifying response, and for someone at the school, this day will be their last. Nothing will ever be the same at Degrassi.

I was looking at this picture... I took note that everyone in here seems to supposedly be involved with Time Stands Still in one way or another... interesting.
Jay& Alex- obviously have problems with Jay and bully him
Jimmy& Spinner- throw Rick into the dumpster; pull a prank on him
Toby- is Rick's friend; tries to help him
Emma- is Rick's crush, consoles him for what everyone is doing to him
Sean- Rick shoots him
The only thing that I can say for Sean, is if Rick makes a move at Emma and she turns him down, and Rick gets upset and pulls a gun on her. Maybe he aims at Emma, but hits Sean instead. Or something like that.

i agree. wat happens if emma rejects him and so he pulls the gun on emma. sean then see's this and jumps in front which rick then pulls the trigor and shoots sean?? but that means sean likes emma!! yay does sean die?? i just voted by the way

also, rogue, it said "regular" not "recurring" character.. he might kill himself, but would you consider rick a regular character? i feel like its gotta be one of the opening credits characters.
what if its jay? the dude that plays him is like 21 (thats how old i am, oh god, im so freaking old) how much longer can he be on the show?
