yeah, it sure was a good one. I'm really excited for Time Stands Still Part 2, there is a NEW article out about it, I'll try to find it. But Daniel Clark aka Sean said that his charcter makes a big decision. Miriam aka Emma said that Emma is very vulnerable.
They said that this shooting will effect the rest of the season.

whats the history behind degrassi?? like i heard somewhere that its a real school or something and something real big happened so they made the school into a tv show!! is that true or just someone's bullshit?? i mean did someone just come up with degrassi and made it about tennages and the different things they go through?, whats up with it??
oh, and on another note, i bid on the box set (14 VHSs!) of Degrassi High (the one from the late 80s with snake, spike, joey, caitlin, etc...) and won! 125 bucks with shipping... at least it will hold me over til the new generation comes back in february... this is going to be like reliving my childhood... except im guessing that this time around, i won't be 6... so ill probably understand the storylines better :-D

It's hard to find at the N.com, but they have calendars out for the rest of this year and up to next year and they have for November through December, BREAK for Degrassi and then in Februrary it says, Degrassi Returns.
The N did the same thing last year, only we had to wait 6 months!! they think their doing us a favor by only making us wait 3 months. They are STILL stupid.
And right now, there is talks that they WON"T be airing Time Stands Still becuase they feel it's too "intense for American Viewers." I will find the article but there are so many protests out that they might change thier mind.

I think it' s completly made up. But the Next Generation is a branch off the Old Series, Degrassi Junior High and Degrassi High. That series featured Spike, (Emma's mom), Joey, Catlin, Snake and a bunch of other characters!!
I've seen some episodes from Degrassi High and it is REALLY good. I mean, they have like 3 storylines going on all at once. Thinking over Season 3 of NExt Generation, Degrassi High dealt with issues MUCH more realistically.
I mean, in "Dont' Dream It's Over" Rick supposed "beat" Terri, while all he did was push her up against a wall, slap her and accidentally push her to the ground where she hit her head. He didn't "beat" her up, if anything it was an accidnet.
In Degrassi High, Kathleen had an abusive boyfriend, Scott and he was REALLy abusive. I mean, he pulled her hair, banged her into the chalkboard, kicked her, slapped her so that she had thse black bruises all over her body. He beat her. I was actually scared for her, but she kept going back to him becuz she thought "I can change him. Scott is the best thing that has every happened to me. He needs me."
I like the old series.

I know! Everyone is so mad at the N right now, it's not even funny. But rest assure, the might show it. But even if they do, it'll be in February.
the Exec said that he hasn't heard anything from the N that might think that might hint that they won't show Time Stands Still, but he's gonna check on it.

I live in Canada and they are showing Time Stands Still (2) Tomorrow, and I am recording it onto my computer, so if anyone wants it I can probably send you the episode over MSN or AIM. It will be 200-400 megs in size.
I know the guy who plays Rick on Degrassi the Next Gen. He's bestfriends with my Cousin. His Name is Ephrem Ellis, and he's the nicest sweetiest guy ever, which is why I find it so funny he plays a complete psycho on Degrassi. It makes me laugh everytime I see him on the show. I made him send me a autographed pic of himself for christmas last year, lol.

It's all made up. There really is a Degrassi Street in Toronto though... I believe. Degrassi the Next Generation is based on the old Degrassi TV shows form the 80's and early 90's. It started with Kids of Degrassi Street, then Degrassi Jr. High and then Degrassi High. There really is no Degrassi high I've actually been to the school it's filmed at. I like watching the show and recognizing the neighbourhoods.
