yeah I heard that as well. Talking about dramatic! That should inspire the show to do a story on that. I know in the old series, Claude commited suicide and. ..whoa. I saw it and it one of the BEST episodes of Degrassi High. Very dramatic.

come to think about it none of the degrassi episodes so far have had anything about commiting suicide....... i wonder if they did that who would commit suicide......... & the most important question if there was an episode bout that would the-n ACTUALLY show it....

I agree, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I hate the N. They KNOW that Degrassi is it's top rated show, yet they treat it like crap.
I personally think a suicide episode would be really interesting to see. Degrassi High did a story on it, I saw it and it was a REALLY good episode! I saw the emotions from Caitlin. And the thing is, they covered ALL subjects about suicide. One character covered the religious side of it, how it was a sin, another character talked about the effects on everyone. Cluade commiting suciide affected EVFERYONE!
Time Stands Still happened, a student died and after Back In Black, everyone's acting as if everything's okay. The shooting happened on Friday and everyone was back in school on Monday. What?

If there was an episode on suicide Who do u think would actually commit suicide would it be like the kids of degrassi or the adults....................... I didnt like back in black for a reason they came back acted like nothing happend & just went on right away. I mean some people would like be very affected but that how tv is they make everyone happy by the next episode.

I really don't think that they should make an ep on suicide! I mean, they had that one whisper to a scream where ellie cut herself, that wasn't kewl and their was an artical in the paper saying that teenagers actually did it; they cut themselves. Im not saying that teenagers are going to go out and kill themselves, but I think that its an issue that would be good raising, but may be in a certain way, they would have to make it a certain way and really get it through that sucide aint the answer!
Basically they should say commiting suicide is not the answer & they should deal w/ things differently. I mean my friend Kyle killed himself. Many people kill themselves and maybe they would show that if people kill themselves they may think they are not hurting anyone when they really are and basically show them if anyone has any signs of going to commit suicide they should help em out.

hmmm may be! My uncle tried to comitte suicide and it effected everyone, they ......... I don't know......They would really have to do it the right way!

Well I'm not sure which character would do it, but they all of these new ones, maybe 1 of them? I dunno.
But of course the message behind the episode would be not to look to suicide to solve your problems. And of course, they actors in the episode would have to give a little discussion after the episode to explain things, but I think it's a topic that degrassi needs to do.
I hated that BIB everyone was acting like evreything was okay! I mean, if a shooting happened at MY school, you wouldn't see me there for a week! IF I came back! A lot of kids should have transfrerred or something. That was very unrealistic.
I saw Neutron Dance..... um i thought it was kinda blah...... It was mostly about Ashley & Craig......boring not much stuff went on. What i thought was funny was when Marco was checking out Mr. O in his yoga pants... that was funny. 😆 But not a really interesting episode. Cant wait til Friday the whole Craig asks Ashley to marry him episode.... YaY..... I use to many dots........ lol
There was no resolution with that. We don't know if Emma has the STD or not. The episode ends with Emma going to get tested. . .we never find out the results.

They said that they really liked me and my brother and then I told them of my brothers site. They went there and guess who e-mails him? Andrea Lewis! Now, before I'm thinking that "It's someone claiming to be her" She gives me proof by complimenting on the shirt that my brother and I wore when we met her. So now it HAD to be the real Andrea Lewis. Who else would know what I was wearing and what we talked about?
Next thing I know she gives us Cassies' e-mail and Laurens. They write back, fabsulous! Now Cassie's IMing my brother. Jake's over she wrote:

i think a suicide episode might be a bad idea, but i think an ATTEMPTED suicide would be great.
on degrassi high, claude was a disposable, not well-liked character and it was still the best episode i think they ever made.
you know what the scary thing about the kids cutting themselves after 'whisper to a scream' is?
they weren't teenagers. i think they were very young. i tried to find the story online but i couldnt.
thats just a case of parents not monitoring what their kids watch on television. tv is not a babysitter. when i was little, my mom made sure she knew what we were watching at all times (i was a young teenager in the beavis and butthead era) and we certainly never cut ourselves or set anything on fire or anything like that. it makes me so mad!
