are the speakers at the rnc using 9/11 for political gain

i was watching the rnc last night and it seemed like every other word was 9/11. i think they are using this tragedy for political gain and it is awful.

Yeah, it's a shame, but that's politics for ya. Is hard to discuss 9/11 topics, but then again is an unavodiable (sp?) subject. I just wish ppl would address it more properly. We are talking human lives that were lost in one single day. Democrats and Republicans are alike. They been using the 9/11 tragedy for their proganda campaign sh!t. I can't tell the difference between the two.

It's absolutely deplorable, but coming from republicans, expected.

not to mention they are duping the american public bye putting nothing but moderates on the stage.when the party is as far to the right as it has ever been

Sadly nothing is off limits, But I do believe that If Bush would cut the crap and make it about the Issues, not only would it be more interesting, Kerry would slaughter, but he wont and insists on personal attacks, on theings that don't even matter.

😕 if you haven't noticed a convention for the incumbent President is suppose to be about the things that happened during thier Presidency and the things they did good. I don't know about you guys but 9/11 is unavoidable no matter what.... if you want to pretend it never happened then go ahead and crawl in your hole and wait for the next one.... we cannot be afraid to talk over the horrible things that happened just because they were horrible because that is equally despicable. The greatest aspec of Bush was the leadership he gave after 9/11 so how would you go about saying that without mentioning the subject? The event will never leave the playing field so get use to it and stop crying... its not like thier dragging out bodies onto the stage and using them as coffee tables.

any other pres would have done the same thing bush did after 9/11. except they would focus more on taking on al queda than fight iraq which by the way is one of the worst intellgence blunders in the history. he lost more jobs than any other pres in 75 years.the only thing they really talked about was 9/11. and i personally feel they used those poor women last night to appeal to some voters.they didnt bring them out for the reason the women thought they were there for. President Bush has the worst record on security ever.9/11 did happened during his admin at that is horrible it shouldnt have happened. president bush could have captured osama bin laden 18 times during his six months. presidnet clinton could have caught him nine times do the math ill gve you time.

I'm curious here, Bush had the chance to capture Bin Laden 18 times? Then Clinton 9 times? How did you came to this conclusion?

you dont know that, you can assume that any other President would have done the same thing, but you cant say that as a fact.You cant Blame Bush for Osama, you cant seriously believe that Bush let Osama escape and continue doing what he is. One thing i respect about the RNC is that they are not exploiting or Bashing the campign they are running against. They had chosen educated intelligent people who are giving great speaches from facts and the goals of the republican administration. they have been acknowledging everything that is wrong with America, but not putting it down and making people feel bad to be Americans at this point in time. I find that many of the Democratic speakers do just the opposite. Kerry and his campign tends to bash Bush,and Ameirica continuously.

and no not all presidents do the samething... do listen to the news Kerry admits that with the same set of intelligence and all that we know today he would have done the same exact thing as Bush in going to war with Iraq and everything.

Economic troubles are usually inherited from the prior administration because most decisions are not seen or can be measured until in the long term..... 🙄

And most economic facts from democrats that lead to things are RARELY reported by the american media
