actual the reccesion you speek of was because of the 2000 election. becuase investers didnt know who was gonna be pres and nobody wanted to buy or sell in those times.bush has the worst job record in 75 years. what happened 75 years ago? well the great depression thats what. bush is a shit president and his party in exploating a tragedy

Antoher reason the republicans keep referring to 9/11 is because it not only changed America, but changed the kind of president Bush was and had to beocome. His actions had to stop from beaing geared to making America grow and keeping it prosperous to protecting America and taking actions to ease the America's fears.

Yeah i have watched a speach by Kerry and i quote " we should be ashamed to be Americans for our actions in Iraq" That is just so wrong ,and just one example of many instances how Kerry down grades america. We as Americans should never be ashmaed to be Americans. Bush made a decision and stood behind it, never faultered despite what the U.n and other countries said. Bush doesnt need approval from the U.N to make a decision for this country.Though many hurdles have come from the war in Iraq, these are hurdles no different from the aftermath of any war. MAny great things have come from the war for the Iraqi people who never new freedom.

so bush is just stuborn.

you can call it stuborn, but it can also be percieved as leadership. you say tomato, i say potato

9/11 is important, but the way they are using it is sad... even for Bush! 😑 And I thought I'd never get to that point.

leadership in the wrong direction mind you

No, only a direction you believe to be wrong. I dont see how anyone says the campaign is exploiteing 9/11. during the RNc so far it has only been discussed ounce in detail about the actuall acts and the reaction of bush. Otherwise it has only been mentioned in passing to get a much larger point across. The point of Bush taking a solid stand on terorism.

The Republicans are doing what there supposed to do at a national convention nominating there candidate and informing people why they did and why they should vote for him. One big way to do this is to talk about Bush and the way he handhold things during his presidency and 9/11 was a big thing during his 4 years. (Roosevelt used Pearl Harbor as a strong point in many of his campaign speeches after the event)

the rebuplicans are using it a bit to much imo

9/11 is the number 1 event that took place over the past term, President always use there big moment (wether tragic or glorious) to get re-elected. Kerry is so concerned with bringing down big business, Seems he really wants both hands of the government in the cookie Jar. anyhow READ THE SIG!!

It was a tragedy....and it always will be....look at the history books...they're full of tragedies....but 9/11 is still relevant to us and we should never forget...even if we are slightly tired of hearing it...it's important to remember why we need our guard up...the time we let a year or two of relative peace dull our eyes, is the time we're going to get a scud missile in the behind.

"the time we let a year or two of relative peace dull our eyes, is the time we're going to get a scud missile in the behind?"
-julie

Is that like a saying or something or is it not?...either way, it's ridiculous, because we're not going to get attacked by a missile, especially a scud missile, those only have a range of 400 miles.

its a figure of speak 113 not like it was gonna happen

The destruction of the two towers was THE most terrible act of terrorism that has ever been committed by any terrorist group anywhere and I think we might expect that Bush might want to feed off the grief of the people who were affected by this atrocity. That's just politics in the raw.

What the American people need to see is that Bush is electioneering off of the backs of these sad people and they should resist the warmongering rhetoric from the Republican hawks.

Our warmongering ex-Prime-Minister by the name of Margaret Thatcher did the exact-same trick with the Falklands war where she tried to look like a hero just because she sent a battalion or so of British troops to the South-Atlantic to die for her political needs.

Bush is cut from exactly the same piece of cloth......

Resist him with all of your might !

75 years ago the American public didn't have such a high number of full grown adults attending universities (not working)

There also wasn't ANYWHERE NEAR the population in the United States at the time.

How is Bush responsible for people staying in their job? Is he somehow capable of shutting down privately owned businesses? Last time I check...private owned businesses accounted for nearly 80% of the jobs in the United States.....So please....tell me how its Bush's fault people are unable to go out and find a job?

Is he preventing them from working? If I get fired....is it Bush's fault? or my own?

if you get layed off it most likely is link.
