Its still his opinion...and of course its personal...its his. 😕

I dont know if you release, maybe not since you live in America, but if you could, for just one day, look at the USA from the point of everyone else, you will release how much of the things you and few other say are totally and utterly rediculous and deluded.

I do realize that the world looks ill upon us it seems and they do matter but many of them believe that passive means will protect them when they do not realize themselves that the enemy we fight is not out for peace they will not stop till thier agenda is met and it is reminicent of Germany in WW2.

the iraqi people are so much safer now. i mean the random attack of terror in the streets.the mosque takeovers.carbombings of churches. kidnapping of americans and are allies(civilians btw).the so much safer. at least when the huss was is power they could tell where the threat was coming from.

😂 funny how terrorist forces are some how better and easier to criticize then secret police tha kidnap you in the night and terrorize your children in thier schools and brainwash and fill them with hate 😊 i'm sure you would love to live in a dictatorship 😊

I think Religion and Politics are two seperate things and shouldn't be mixed ❌

They cannot be seperated unfourtunetly because our beliefs will always influence our policy and our hearts.

Excuse me! I AM a Republican who was working in midtown Manhattan before, on, and after 9-11. I LOST 3 Co-Workers who were in Windows on the World during the attack. I would think that someone like you would take national security a little more seriously, because your geographical risk is greater. But perhaps people in the center of this country understand the importance much better because they do not have to suffer all the distractions in daily life that city folk take as a given. They can see a clearer picture. Oh, not to mention that NY's best mayors, Koch and Guliani, understand the threat we're under and what must be done, and both side totally with Bush, so frankly I think your comments are uneducated, uninformed, and full of it.

I remember the day well. I remember many times that day hearing people of all stations say Thank God Bush is our President and Not Gore -and much of this came from the NYPD who, being unionized, typically vote Democrat. Why do you think they'd feel that way, why do you think NYPD and NYFD booed Hilary Clinton a few weeks later... because the current Democratic party is spit amongst its fringe groups and cannot offer a solid, stable stance on National Defence -or much of anything for that matter. They can't protect us.

And as for your other comment about no other issues... you obviously get all your information from soundbites and gossip and haven't really been paying attention. 1) The economy -the market started dropping 7 months before Clinton left office (I worked for Bloomberg Fin Markets and saw it daily), that plus 9-11 would've devastated us if it weren't for Bush's economic policies; tax reform, benefits for small business (85% of our companies are sm, bus); 2) education reform -No child left behind is doing a good job cutting through red tape and inane administration of the inner city schools; 3) welfare reform, 4) medicare reform; 5) immigration issues -all being worked on. Sure they didn't create a utopia in 4 years, but 3000 of our people were turned to dust by fundamentalists who hate us for how we live, so I'd say we were a little distracted.

Instead of using bland generalities and assumptions (like your belief that only happy liberals live on the coasts), maybe you can start using facts with the rest of the grown ups.

Thank you for your intervention and derailment of a biased person trying to speak for a whole demographicly and ideologically diverse community. 😄

"All I'm going to say is that it seems politics can turn usually nice people in my eyes into ignorant rush limbaugh conservative hicks."

Thank you Captain Stereotype, for that ridiculous generalization. Thats like saying all Dems are gay hippy abortionists. What a stupid thing to say.

This is why I can barely tolerate political discussions on KMC. Some idiot has to play the hackneyed stereotype card every time, just because they apparently have nothing intelligent to say.

Nice post Goldberri. In fact, I think that was the best post on this thread so far.

😂 you do realize the reason we fought the Vietnam war was because the French asked for our help right? 😂 my point has nothing to do with Iraq.... I am saying a lot of bad stuff happened when we listened to the French....hmmmmmm Two World wars.... and our own little fun fair 😊

Tell mewhat happens after you get rid of Dubya? 😄

yes we might of helped the french out, but the fact that history shows is that it was us and us alone that kept sending troops, and kept trying to give assistance to the south vietnamese, we carried that war from 1963 on. So it wasn't because of the french asked for our help, it was fought with such passion from johnson and on because we wanted to "defeat the evils of north vietnam and communism"

But they got us involved and the US doesn't back away from help needed.

so you justify those means... but not the tyranny of Hussien regim which was equally brutal? 🙂

Yeah, I started a topic about Zell Miller's speech. The Topic was THE SPEECH. You knuckleheads are the ones that drag these threads through the mud by going severely off-topic, hence my frustration.

I apologize to RavetheOnly and anyone else I offended.

Knucklheads?
Who uses that word anymore?
That is like SO 1956! 😛

.....May I remind you Mr. I'm SO frustrated because my precious thread has gone off-topic, that you posted this thread in the OTF.
It was moved by lil to the GDF after 3 pages.

You clearly did not intend for it to stay on topic or else you would've posted it in here in the first place!

You just like throwing tantrums and using 50s words!
Ugh! schmoll

Damn I'm such a hot b!tch! diva
Eat your heart out Zell! winkiss
