I agree. I have high hopes for Brubaker on Uncanny though. I'd be more interested in adjectiveless X-Men if Bachalo wasn't on art.

seems it'll be late august before we see the next one... ffs whedon, what the hell is going on... how can it take 2 months to write a comic? tv scripts can get done in a few days, seriously... maybe its cassaday with the art... though i doubt it...

Not necessarily the series. Just the Whedon/Cassaday duo. I'm not sure if that means Cassaday will stay on art though. It would be good if he did, I've grown accustomed to his renditions. Who should write Astonishing after Whedon though?

No idea... as long as its not bendis... morrisson might be too dark... i like busiek's work on superman (he did secret identity and is currently doing the oyl supes comic)...

i'd like to get rid of cassaday... i'll always remember him as the shit that brought back the skullcap for cyclops... f*cker... that shit'll last for years...

Brian K Vaughn is good with twists and turns and complex storylines e.g. Y - The Last Man, his Ultimate X-Men was pretty good too... then again I'm bias because I'm addicted to Runaways.
