It might actually be jean... you never know... or maybe emma isnt really emma at all and jean has been masquerading as her the whole time...

What about the second trade, collecting #7-12? I've been looking for that for a long time.

I have it. Its called "Dangerous" Its one of my favorite tb's cos it shows a lot of respect for Beast in issue 12 ✅

yea and for some reason i liked it when kittty and colossus are all thinking to concentrate while wolverine is thinking how he likes bear

major spoilers below...

Spoiler:
astonishing #14... f*ck yes his conscience is clear, a psychic relationship is looked at very differently by someone who isn't a telepath... its like dreaming or fantasizing... at least thats how i see it...

and NO, cyclops does not want to be F*CKING WOLVERINE!!!

kitty's phasing was awesome... brilliantly written... and logan the next morning...

emma is such a cow... pity my arse, he'e a tactical genius... he only lost to storm cos his heart wasn't in it... n she betrayed him... doesn't that guy ever catch a break, now he's a vegetable...

i didnt read that last page like that at all. i mean, it was clear emma used her telepathy to get into his head and expose scott's issues, but it was scott himself who actually "broke free," and that last page, to me, seemed like he was almost in shock at being able to have done it. i didn't see it as a telepathic assault, but i guess we'll see how it plays out in issue 15.

great issue when it comes to developing cyclops in an entirely different way. even if emma was lying, it's a great insight. highly recommended.

maybe, though i'd be surprised if he wasnt coerced in some way... i mean he's always been considered to be the best x leader, especially by xavier... i don't think alot of the issues emma showed were genuine...

and the whole 'he wasnt wearing his shades' thing was freaky...

i love the

Spoiler:
"you sick b*tch"
line, genius...

I love seeing my threads refreshing up with good posts. gambit

whether they were genuine or not, they were enough to break into cyke's inner-most psyche. he had to rethink it, and whether it's true or not, what she said seemed plausible. i mean, really, why would xavier have done what he did for scott? emma at least seemed right in her assessment, though it does come as something of a "retcon" to the established scott/x-men relationship.

he really is one of the best leaders in the MU, though. i think her point was that he isn't the same type of leader, and his leadership came through years of being a leader, not a natural disposition. what i didn't understand, though, was that she

Spoiler:
chided cyke for hiding from his power rather than embracing it, whereas her mental image of leaders included blackbolt; the ultimate example of a leader whose power deserves the fear and respect he gives it. but, then again, i guess blackbolt's isn't just a mental block...

Can anyone give a summary of what happened?

Spoiler:
I'm really glad that Whedon actually opened scott up using emma..but that was so sick..it made me not like emma at all... ..(i expected whedon to write his women well) writers of the past having been using that flaw as a way to write cyclops over and over again which got annoying; Grant morrison did but pushed him out of it at the end...now writers can't go back..hopefully...overall this issue was great,,but the ending i really didnt like cause it spooked me the way Cyclops was...hopefully it aint as bad as it looks..and it was creepy the same Nova came out of the dark to beast, that look like it came straight from a horror movie..I hate this bi-monthly s%$&...

Now that you ppl are saying how good this issue is, can someone put up scans from it plz!?!?!?!?! I really want to read it! 😛

i dont belive that i actually missed the last issue

Is anyone else still skeptical about Emma's retun to "villainy"? I mean she envited Kitty to keep an eye on her incase she returns to form yet when we see her conversing with the shadows she says kitty will be the first to be dealt with. then she plays with scott's head in issues 14 before.... what she did at the end. Her behavior is just a bit too fruity!?
And apparently Sebastion has recovered from his near fatal meeting with Peirce. Whedon needs to get to the real *#@@!@#$g thing fast im intrigued yet if he screws Emma over I will definatly Hunt him down and kill him!!!

P.s Hope Emma doesnt pull a juggernaut that would be so boring and beneath Whedon....

there's no evidence emma did anything to him in the end, or really anything more than take a trip with him through his own psyche. this "emma turned him into a vegetable!" stuff isn't confirmed, and it's hardly backed up by what happened in the issue.

Oh, i know she had a point... but i mean, everyone has faults, if you dig deep enough you find that point of no return, where a persons doubts about themselves exist, and i think she found his...

she made his doubts about himself come to the fore, and i believe by almost overwhelming him with them she had the veggie effect on him...

she takes out scott while cassandra takes out beast, seems like a smart strategy to me... without the brain the body can't survive, scott is the leader, beast the intellect... i think it was a coordinated strike...

Refreshing up old official threads.

So uh, is Scott dead? Cause he looked messed up in the end....
