So.... How much of the story can be answered by science now?? After last night I'm starting to wonder if its a large part of science fiction...

Though I didn't expect echo to have been that evil... Though some of this actions are understandable, alot of it could only be done by someone who was truely bad...

So why would the others want him???

dont know why the others want any of them except for Walt.

My theory is that the others are a small group and have to inbreed if they don't get new recruits. So when people come to the island (constantly due to Dharma and the radio tower and magic voodoo evil and whatnot) they wipe their memories (Claire) and have them join the ranks. So we'll be seeing Danielle's daughter and even the kids from Other 48 Days.

Im totally lost after seeing the black smoke clearly. What can cause that? I mean, really. I think they are illusions of some sort.

the only explanation I can think of that could pause as scientifically sound, Is if it was like a little device that Emits the smoke... (not really realistic due to the nature of the smoke but...) The smoke must have some form of solid mass... Or physotaniteicalygoohicky powers to be able to pull locke along.. and to throw trees and pilots around..

The "scientific" explanation is getting more unplausible with each episode that passes. I mean, the smoke seems to have a mind of its own. And it picks up trees!

Oh, btw, does Michael know where Walt is now? Was the cut away from the computer screen after when Walt was typing intentional?

The smoke in the third picture down from what MG posted kind of looks like some kind of animal face. lol.

I think the computer person is lying to michael... And I think it told him to do something like "seperate youself from the group and to do something in particular" and in so it will actually harm mike n co...

I think it was stupid that mike was hiding walt's messages from jack..kind of pointless no need for it at all..it just sets that whole situation up to your theroy about it not being walt..and mike meeting them and so on..

no because he nu that jack would have a go at him.

Hmmm... It could of said something like, "Walts gonner be killed if you don't do this..."
