Why didn't he talk for 40 days? Wasn't it suppose to tell in this episode? I think I might've missed it.

Oh yeah, I remember now. But the Bible does teach that if you repent and ask God to forgive you for your sins that he will make you whole. Not talking for 40 days doesn't do anything.

he spent 40 days praying is my guess... But its a bit hard when your on a desert island.. SO he shut up for 40... and segragated himself to continplate..
