seemed like another wasted ep, mostly Charlie dreaming, freaking out, going nowhere, doing nothing...

...unless all that Locke-centric side-story stuff, the long looks, the Yin-Yang thing between Locke and Ecko, Ecko the drug-lord being a priest, while Locke, the box-company 'commando' becomes.... what? something else... think there's more to Locke than what's being shown, maybe more to everyone besides what's being shown!

or the writers really have no clue about any of it, just thorw something together and fill hour after hour without meaning or direction.

seemed a wasted Charlie ep to me though

I forgot to watch LOST tonight. Did anything good happen? It looked like it would be a wasted episode so im not too bumed. Did it show why Driveshaft broke up?

uhhh DriveShaft broke up because of the wild parties and drug freaks, didn't they? Liam ran away from it, but Charlie stayed caught up in the life, Liam had a woman and a baby, all Charlie had was his heroin habit... and the band fell apart...

Spoiler:
in the new ep flashbacks, Charlie was writing a new comeback song, but Liam sold his piano in order to have cash to take his woman to Australia, for drug treatment and to start over with her and his new baby...

Charlie was left wondering What about me? What about my family? to correlate with Claire cutting him out of her and Aaron's lives... Charlie was having nightmares that Aaron was in danger, so Charlie did wild strange things to 'keep the baby safe' things that endangered the rest of the survivors, and freaked Claire out alienating her further, driving her closer to Locke... in the end, Claire allowed Ecko to baptize her and Aaron, in a small effort to keep themselves safe, or to start fresh and clean, free of Charlie, but in another way, because of Charlie's pleading for her to listen to him...

boring ep... no monster, no Others, no mythology... a little hint of Locke to come, if they follow up with it, but not much meat to this ep

this was an actual episode? I thought last night was going to be a rerun...in other words I did not watch it. =\

next week is a rerun... another wait for new meat!!! grrr....

and, not much 'progress' shown in the 'Coming Soon on Lost' previews either.... hopefully Season 2 starts to take fo somewhat before much longer.

What about the 'Locke problem' Jack assumed the survivors would have if they survived the Night that Never Was vs the Others Who Never Came... at the end of Season 1? Locke has hardly gotten out of control or anything since blasting open the hatch. And the Others (or at least, Zeke) ain't all that either, using a few simple tricks and threats to scare the survivors, rather than demonstrate any real strength or power....

probably the 'real' Others, the quiet-runners in the jungle, will do more damage, if they ever get back into telling that story...

slow going so far this season, even the flashbacks are becoming bland:
Charlie loses his piano... WHAT?!?

🙁

quite right slick.....

Wonder why locke kept charlies stash though??? I think the ep was just a build up to locke taking power over everyone...

though as soon as locke has some crazy phyco dream hes convinced he has too follow through with his dream.. Charlie has one and he does everything to stop it rather then understand him...

"Locke taking power over everyone"? 😐

I was reading up on some of the books that have been linked to the series, like lord of the flies...

It wouldn't supprise me if locke takes over as the leader of the group... The current leader jack, could lose out to locke!

That would be crazy if Locke became the leader. Why dont people see that he's not quite adjusted properly, I mean the guy takes things in his head way too far.

But they never actually showed Driveshaft break up so I thought that would be Charlies flashback. I guess I was wrong.

Why is Jack being replaced as Leader? Jack is just so.......well........cool! But then Locke has all the cool knives and has all those weapons!!!!!!!!

http://www.geronimo-jackson.com/

what I mean is he was hated by a few people at one point... always seemed the outsider of the group.. but with clairs sudden dependancy on him, and his "go to" status, (if theres a problem, lockes the one to call) is locke slowly taking over the roll as leader?

Well I haven't seen any of the 2nd season and will not see it till next year but judging by what everyone is saying..........maybe.

As Charlie says, "If there's anyone on this island I'd trust to save my life... It's John Locke."

He's sort of an outsider, I don't see him as being the leadership type as much as a sage of sorts, but I don't think of Jack as the leader anymore. It's sort of a democracy at this point, with only about fifteen characters having any clue what's going on except for the fact that someone keeps giving them boar, and they eat it.

Well would Locke be a true/good leader? Charlie says he would trust Locke to save his life but then it was Jack who saved Charlie after being hung, plus it will ave to be Jack who has to save Charlie when his body goes into cardiac arrest. I think thats what happens after you take to much heroine.

It looks like they're adding a new cast member in the episodes after next. A girl.

Also we're going to soon find out why Hurley hasn't lost any weight 😱 No joke.

Any else think that the people who made the video tape that Jack and Locke found in the hatch may have been the people that took Walt?

Maybe. Hurley is not losing weight because he is eating survivors on the island LOL. 😆 😈

Maybe 😱

Maybe the magnetism on the island in contracting all of his fat together and not letting it go anywhere. (does that even make sense?)

I'm not saying season 2 is bad... It just feels like there stalling for time... And in the process are making the show feel stretched...
