Oh s**t, i dont know about the whole episode but the last 15 minutes or so had me fu**ing glued. Jack played them! Everything changes now and I want Sawyer to shoot that bastard. Now many of us have been complaining about the long wait but after the long wait is gonna be 16 straight new episodes, I could wait.

I thought he had decided to do the operation legit b/c of seeing Kate and Sawyer together. I guess he knew what he was doing. I can't tell if he likes that other women though.

I guess we have to wait is not like we have a say so in the matter. I thought Jack was doing it because of Kate too and because being a doctor he wouldnt let someone die. I honestly didnt saw it coming, i think thats why this episode ended so good. Thinking about it Jack now holds all the cards in his hand, he could just make all the "other" surrender before fixing Ben seeing as how they are nothing without him.

You must not be paying attention. He doesn't care about that man. He would let him die in a heart beat and in fact that's what he's threatening to do. So yeah, he didn't do the operation b/c of moral values, he did it to get the upper hand, to gain control and save Kate and Sawyer.
Actually they have weapons and they have more numbers, so they're not completely lost without Ben. And he'll loose "all the cards in the deck" if they wait too long and Ben dies b/c then he'll have no leverage to make them do what he wants.
So yeah....

If it was Sawyer or Sayid doing the operation then they probably could back up their threaths but not Jack. Well, ratings have been down 12 percent each week since the first episode...So. I know for sure that my parents won't be watching it anymore.
Not a smart move in my opinion to wait weeks for new episodes.It depends to be honest...Last nights episode, in my opinion, was the season 2 finale, and when they come back season 3 will start. So maybe people will come back. I'll be here, that's for sure; I've wasted two years of my life already, I'm not giving up now.Anybody here not coming back?
