Wtf?
Hows it weird? There's such thing as brainwash... we even saw Carl been brainwashed in that pro christian room thing...

Clones? I haven't seen 2 of anyone yet...

Brainwashed in one day?

Especially considering Jack would be a hard person to be brainwash due to the hate he has for the others and his intelligence. It would take more than one day.

Also, if they were going to brainwash him, why wouldnt they brainwash him before he did the surgery instead of afterwords?

And was Carl even being brainwashed? He still came out loving his girlfriend and not liking the Others.

RE To Karl: Karl's brainwash was to force im into christian beliefs, to make him never do anything bad. Brainwashing comes in 2 forms: Brainwashing someone to make them believe in a certain way,
Brainwashing someone to make them behave in a certain way.

How do we know how long its been? And even so, it is possible to brainwash in a single day; even if they are strong minded.
They wouldn't brainwash him before surgery because Jack would of been less determined to help;

If not, whats your theory?

I dont have an theory, thats what I thought it was wierd because it goes completely against the character.

Well, the show in its third season is roughly what....60 days was it? (maybe they said 80) so roughly it would be about 5 days since Jack left the island to go back to the Others houses.

Karl was probalby in that room for a long time because he was taken away at the start of the castaways imprisonment. If they took Karl somewhere else, I wouldnt know because everything is speculative...so I'm assuming they started brainwashing for a long time and considering Karl didnt seem to be different I'mn assuming again that it would take awhile to brainwash Jack. One question, I dont remember anything Christian beliefs?

One thing I completely disagree with. From what Jack was doing seemed like he was completely friends with the Others and if I use your brainwashing theory then obviously it worked because he seemed like he was very good friends with the beared guy.

So, if he was good friends with them, why would he, if he was brainwashed before surgery less likely to help his "friend" Ben and save his life then being mortal enemies with him and saving his life. Obviously, it didnt work out because in the end Jack used the surgery to get Kate and Sawyer off the island and saving both thier lives and helping out Juliet. I dont get that. If brainwashing is to make behave like good friends with them, why wouldnt they do that before the surgery?

I've already said; He'd be less determined if he was brainwashed before the surgery.

As for the brainwashing, it was christian; the huge projecter displayed images containing christian quotes; "God loves you as he loves Jacob", and "you are the cause of your own suffering" etc. As for the Jack thing, fine, I didn't write the show. It does seem weird, yes, but what do you expect, it's Lost.

He was'nt taken for a long time: Sawyer and Kate must of escaped after about only 1 day.

It wasnt just one day.

The back surgery would of atleast taken 10 hours. Atleast, and it was more than just one day before the surgery.

Yah, I know what you said, and I think your wrong.

Please let me explain.

When the Kate and Co. were watching Jack play football, it seemed that Jack was having a grand ol time. Do you agree?

It seemed that Jack was very good friends with these people. Do you agree?

So if this was the case of brainwashing it obviously worked because Jack hated the Others. Do you agree?

Ok...so we've established that Jack was acting completely different than before.

So, if he was good friends with others due to the result of the brainwashing, if they brainwashed Jack before the surgery, with the results of brainwash, why would Jack be less determined to help Ben?

He's very good friends with the Others, Ben is an Other, Ben would be considered his friend, Jack likes helping his friends (from season 1 and 2), why would he be less determined to help Ben if he was brainwashed before the surgery.

If this brainwashing theory is the theory, wouldnt you want a guy who was your good friend to do the surgery instead of an mortal enemy.

Well yall can sing your praises. It seems I MAY NOT be able to keep up with this show as efficiently as I was doing.

Maybe online, I don't know.

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Why?

Well a situation has occurred with my "stupid" roommate and so I won't be able to watch many of my shows. Not just Lost. So yeah. It's not by choice.

My Mom has said she'll record my shows throughout the week for me though while I'm away from home, so hopefully that works out and I'll be able to see them over the weekend when I go home. I'll also try to watch them online if I can.

I think ABC allows you to watch each episode of Lost for free right after it airs.

I think thats the case but I'm definitly not sure about it. If thats not the case, I think they charge you 1.50 per episode or something like that.

But it sucks dude...can I ask what happened?

Because Jack had nothing to do the surgery for if he was brainwashed. Just because if he was brainwashed, it doesn't mean he would be there friends, maybe he's brainwashed to play american football.

No, he has his own tv. The problem is that there's only one cable outlet. So only one tv can use it at a time. And now he wants a turn.

Just an idea, maybe the hostiles are creating an army of american footballers, who knows.

Has Hurley been fired yet?

Have you been watching the latest episodes?

If so then you would know this.

anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Maybe they brainwashed him after the surgery? 😬

How about we get off of the whole "brainwash" thing.

I haven't been saying anything b/c I was hoping it wasn't being seriously considered, but yeah......Jack is not brainwashed.......it doesn't happen like that.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

Yeah.

If it was brainwashing that would totally suck.

Does Hurley die tonight? Can anybody tell if he does? Jack is acting. Doubt if he's brainwashed.
