It was a Forrest Gump-ish episode as they were evrywhere the others have been, sometimes even before they found stuff like the second hatch and the plane. Nikki was hot yesterday but I guess all them people that hated them should be happy. Buried alive is a horrific death. Next week episode should be pretty interesting with Juliet and Kate handcuffed together.

last nights episode was a snoozer ....IMO... only thing good about it was Boone and Shannon made a tiny appearance.anyways... so Nikki was a b*tch and we shouldnt feel bad she was buried alive
and Paulo was in 300 ...so
I watched kind of in awe because I remembered that man saying how that one female spider would attract a bunch of male spiders so I thought she wanted him to lay paralyzed on the ground so the other spiders could come and kill him, and I thought she would get out of there so they wouldn't get her. I found it kind of strange she left that detail out of her explanation of what the spider did. Then it was so obvious she forgot. That was sooo stupid.

Useless?
What so useless about it.
Oh, right, they're wasnt any cliffhangers, or major plot points, so automatically makes it useless, or crappy even though Lost has episodes where it doesnt directly involve the storyline.
It showed back story for characters that nonbody knew about, Sun found out about Charlie and Sawyer which could be a major storyline later on, it showed character development in Sawyer and how he might be changing (throwing away 8 million dollars is pretty big for a character like Sawyer. It showed bits and pieces about the Others.

Misdirection my friend. If u were a crash survivor stranded in an isolated island and came across $8 million in diamonds, What could u do with them? Not a damn thing. So he buried them with 2 bodies knowing the other 815s wont mess with a grave being goody, goody 2 shoes. Maybe when and IF they get rescued all he has to do is dig them out.
Maybe, but he would of put kept in the bag instead of sprinkling them all over the place. Once the dirt settles for awhile, it will be almost impossible to find all those really small diamonds.
He could find them, but it would take a very long time, plus its out in the open so people would now and I wouldnt surpraised if they do get rescued that the bodies would be dugged up.
I think Sawyer put the diamonds there because he didnt care anymore.
Well, I personally liked the episode. I appreciated how they gave us a detailed back story on the characters, and I thought it was especially interesting that they discovered some very important landmarks before anybody else. Now - call me crazy, but I'm not completely convinced that their part in this huge confusing story of Lost is completely over. It would seem really pointless to bring them in, season three, give us one episode of story, bury them alive, and then have that be the end. It seems to me that something...some part of their story has to have a part in the bigger picture. Just a thought.
