I had a feeling others would feel this way.

Not everybody is going to view last night's show as great, if good at all.

I don't think he would leave her behind because she doesn't have "that magical connection to the island" because not everybody does, if that was the case he'd probably have only taken John Locke with him.

I dont think its more of the magical connection, I think its only because Juliet is the only one who actually was going to leave? See where I'm coming from?

They're probalby people who want to leave but actually go foward with it.

Lord, what the **** do you want with the show? Your always complaing that episodes suck and such and thats your opinion, but I would personally like to know what you want from Lost?

People want answers. They're answering questions.
People want to go back to the beach, well, they are going back to the beach.
People dont want flashbacks, well, hate to say it, buts it Lost, and they'res flashbacks. It's like moving 24 past the whole 1 hour realtime.
People dont want very cliffhanger shows, but they dont want non story shows.
Out of all the shows on TV, Lost is probalby the only one where expectations are extremely high and if the producers that magical episode, or answer that person is thinkings, its suddenly shit.

Umm...I hope you're not referring to me as ALWAYS saying the episodes suck and all that mess.

All I have been doing lately is discussing the shows and I have not said anything about any episode sucking or being bad or anything.

Did I say the previous episode was bad? If so please quote me.

It has nothing to do with you. Just people in general. Just things I've noticed people saying.

Some people are just never happy I guess. And with Lost, I think you've just gotta accept the love/hate relationship. Its a show thats full of confusing plots and millions of questions, but if you're a true fan you'll just stick it out, and trust that its going somewhere amazing. Anyways - I loved this weeks episode. It addressed some important questions, and I was really glad that they finally gave us another look at the "monster." The way I understand it is that the others definately know about the evil black smoke, and their walls are a defense system. I appreciated the mix that they had in this episode...we got some on the beach, some with the others, and finally some Jack/Kate time! 🙂 I thought it was great.

I thought other people would found it pretty damn good too.

Does anybody remember when they first heard those sounds in the woods? I didn't think that black cloud creature was the thing making that noise. It sounded like the sounds we heard in the first and second season. Or was that the cloud as well? Does the cloud even make noise?

I think thats the cloud. Or I assuming it was.

Best part of the monster and probalby one of my favourite parts in any TV show is when the sound hits and the tree's start ripping from the ground. It's a pretty neat sequence.

I was a little confused too...because up until now, I thought there were two "monsters." But - when the smoke flew into that wall, it was making noise...so I think we're supposed to believe that there is only one monster, the crazy black smoke.

Two monsters?

I never thought of that.

I really think its part of the island ands its what they say, some sort of defense mechanism.

But I also feel thats is part of the Dharma project because it just makes sense because the Others use all other dharma project stuff. So I really think its something to do with the Dharma project, which I figure will be address next season as its main storyline. Just like how the first season was all about the hatch, second all about the numbers and the third all about the Others.

As soon as I heard that sound again I was reminded of those....weren't they like Wort Hogs or something...didn't we actually see it? Can't remember.

But I thought it was some kind of PIG running through the woods that we kept hearing in SEason 1 and 2 and just the other night in the last LOST Episode.

I don't think the others know what that cloud is, I'm not sure but i think Just part of me thinks they don't

Anyone care to comment on where Locke is off to? I was so thrown off by his quick departure. I honestly thought it was going to be one of those situations where he was pretending to be going with the Others, but then at the last second he'd lean in real close and say something to the effect of, "I'll be back for you." But - that clearly didn't happen.

I knew he would go away.

And its too obvious if Juliet is there to spy. If it did happen, I'm not going to like it.

Locke is one of my favorite characters - I hope the writers arent trying to make him a unlikable character and then kill him off 🙁

and I dont mean unlikable like Ben ... Ben is an interesting character that you love to hate 🙂

To me Locke is different then any other character...he doesn't belong on either "side." The Island has always been his main focus, and whatever is going to allow him to stay there, he'll take advantage of. I guess I've never completely trusted him...but I didn't expect him to leave so suddenly. I hope we find out more about that soon.
