Another island mystery, or a relative of Richards.
I thought Jacob was going to be Richard's dad, and the first "Hostile" that Ben encountered all those years ago.
Anyway I'm really confused as to what's going on, but one thing I really want to see happen is a confrontation with Jack. Someone has to knock some sense into him. He knew the Others were coming and didn't tell anyone?? That's playing with their lives, he doesn't deserve to keep that information to himself.
Also I think the black smoke thing might have something to do with, or was created by the Darma Corporation. At first I thought it was trying to drive outsiders off the Island, but the "Natives" are hiding from it behind the sonic fence.

Yes, but he might have left it too late, I don't think we can trust Jack anymore.
Edit: I actually think he's planned something with Rousseau. She, after all, went to the Black Rock for that dynamite, why would she do that? Unless, of course as I'm thinking, Jack came to her asking her for help, creating a secret plan to take out the Others with.
locke, oh yeah him, lol, i forgot he was left dying in a pit of corpses, I reckon we can trust jack, but no-one should have their lives in his hands, he's been with the hostiles too long. and the fence... it seems to use a sonic field, the only thing that can be stopped by sound is a form of dark matter found in certain nebulae, it would fir the discrition right too, that's my scientific answer. my other choice is that the smoke IS the island and it's picking people off one by one, it might even BE jacob too. we just don't know

And your right, Jack is the only one I would trust.
I would trust Sayid
It does bug me when the people on the island are like what? you think jack would betray us? No not our jack we love him. Hello these people have known eachother for a matter of months. If any of them got a chance to better their selves and get outta there I would expect them to take it. I certainly wouldnt think were all best friends and all for 1, 1 for all.

Who cares if he's too involved with Juliet. That means didly squat. Just because he's "involved' with Juliet, doesn't mean he's involved with Ben, or any of the Others.
Why?He's become too involved with Juliet.
And like Kate says even his former friends distrust him now.
Oh, well, it starts in like 10 minutes where I am, so I haven't seen it yet. Filler, though, huh?
Edit:

Yet he knew Ben sent her to spy on the camp. And that she was reporting to Ben. He knew all this but didn't tell the other survivors, that makes him untrustworthy.

Yeah, I guess.
Ah well.
I'm a tad bit dissappointed that they still havnt answered any main questions about the others...or just completely.
