Where the hell is

Spoiler:
the horse that Kate saw, that big mechanical wisp of smoke, the polar bears, the boars, etc etc. Why did they appear in 1-2 eps and then just up-and leave? Why did the last episode end like it did? We didn't find out until the very end that what Jack was experiencing wasn't his past, but his future. That was all retarded and left us hanging and now I want another season of Lost. No more, right? cry
What are you talking about? It was the season finale, not series finale.

All those things that Kate saw and that everybody else saw was the Black Smoke showing them things that were in their memories.

That's one of the abilities that the Black Smoke has. Those things were never really there, just the Black smoke messing with them, except for the Polar Bears which were really there.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

I still want to know what the **** the smoke is.

Ill be happy and content when the series is over if they answer that question. And I want a detailed, 10 minute converstation, fact sheeted explanation. Not, "its the island's sercurity system".

I want to know what it is, how it was built or created, what its life was, the history and everything.

What it eats for breakfast? What it's favorite color is? Haha, whatever it is, it obviously is EVIL because it cased Eko's death.

Hurley saw things from his past on the island and there was no black smoke shown. And when Shannon saw Walt-well that wasn't real so what the hell was that.

I hope they don't just forget about those smaller things that happened a while ago, because Lost is really complicated and they've set themselves up for a lot of explaining.

We don't have to see the smoke for it to be messing with their minds.

Anata wa wakarimasu ka.....

I want to know how the Others found out about the smoke, or how the Dharma Inititive found out.

Similiar to the situation that happened at the Lost pilot. Probalby my favourite episode.

Yeah, you're just assuming that.

Perhaps the Dharma Inititive created the smoke. I mean, we don't know what they were experimenting on. All we know is polar bears were involved!

Being that you didn't quote me, I can only assume the "you're just assuming that" was directed towards me.

I am not assuming that. During the 1 hour special where they answered some questions about the show, they talked about the smoke and explained a little bit about it. This is how I know what I know and am able to relay it onto you.

So you're assuming that I'm assuming when I really am not.

Ironic.

Okay, I mean, I saw that too, but with different assumptions from it. Yes, so I see a lot of assumptions have come up. Maybe assume does make an a s s out of u and me . I say u because anyone that contradicts me without a "No offence", well..

I can't wait until Desmond returns. It'll be tense when he tells about Charlie, and trying to convince Jack it's not Penny's boat, next to impossible.

Yes, but Jack must listen to Desmond.

Ok.

The horse Kate saw was in her imagination, just like how Jack saw his father and Eko talked to his brother.

The boars are indiginous to the island. The Polar Bears were brought there by the Dharma Inititive (remember the polar bear cages) and the black smoke hasnt been answered and rightfully so because its one of the biggest questions that need to be answered.

And the show is not over yet, you still get 3 more seasons.

Ooooh! I get it now.

Um..what makes you think there is more LOST? Why did it end so abruptly with Kate and Jack OFF the island and after a season ends, if LOST is coming back they ALWAYS show what the next seasons episodes will contain but whenever this last season episode was over the credits rolled and it went to a completely different show...no previews, no nothing.

You just haven't heard the news. L O S T plans to finish in 2010. That is, of course if it stays on the air-which God I hope it does because I need answers.

Exactly since when did they show previews for the next season after they just finished one? A preview for something that'll be on months later? Yeah right, they just don't do it. They start showing previews for the upcoming season a week or two before it starts.

Because ABC announced that Lost is on for another 3 seasons of 16 episodes each, already. Plus, haven't you ever heard of a cliffhanger?

I can they preview the next season. It hasnt been filmed yet?

Speaking of that, when are they starting to film?

August 7th. Or so I read..

I see.

It's interesting on how long it takes to film one episode.

Is it? How long does it take?

So can anyone explain the flashbacks and flashforths in the finale episode of Lost for me? What was after the island and what was before? I would almost think that all the flashbacks where Jack had beard was the future but he says that his father is still alive, indicating that it is in the past. So what is true? Is only the last scene in the future? Or did his father never die?

That's the question.

Nobody knows.

He doesnt say his dad is alive completely, he makes reference to it.

The prescription, and the outburst in the hosiptal doesnt direcly refer to him being alive.

Prescription was probably forged because of the narcotics invovled, and the outburst, he said why dont you go up and talk to my dad and ask about alchohol abuse, but the way he says it soundsl it was that nonbody asked him about it when he was alive.
