so what's your take on the Alternate Timeline videos? I know we shouldn't take SDCC videos as canon, but they always point towards where the show is going...

I don't know man, Jorge Garcia asked the question "if its alternate timeline isn't that a big waste of 5 seasons" so I don't know. I mean, cool if it means old characters are back, but if we forget everything that happened, I dont know.

With the interviews of various ex cast-members, I'm interested to see in what capacity they might be involved. I mean, this next season could be about anything. This cliffhanger ending is so ridiculous - I can't even really fathom what will happen next.

Ive a theory that the alt. timeline thing is gonna be what WAS before this timeline, rather than what will be.

This would tie in with the "what has happened happened" rule, and could mean that even though this game seems played over again and again, why the new variation is significant...

It could be that the the causing of affecting of the incident WAS responsible for everything so far, that they are still on the island, and we might see what originally happened in the loop or at least prior to this loop being created..

This way the writers could keep their word to us that they arent gonna make the last 5 seasons worthless.
