Word is that Richard Alpert was seen in a scene being filmed being kicked on the beach near the statue by UnLocke..Looks like he is doing some reordering.

Fair point. But I think its a safe assumption, given normal Lockes non-tendancy to cave Richard's ribs in.
I still think it possible that Locke after the fall was a Jacob UnLocke, and was only Evil Unlocke after Ben Murdered him (loophole?)...
IE a twist being that the real Locke was dead before the series began.

For those of you who were hoping for a fairly seamless run through for Lost's final season (similar to the way Season 5 ran with almost no breaks), you're out of luck. According to Abramsology.com, Lost's 6th season is going to be broken up.According to executive producer Cartlon Cuse, ABC will air the first few episodes in January and then take a time out for the Winter Olympics. The Olympics aren't even airing on ABC, but Lost will still take a break and resume the season in early March.
No official January kick off date has been announced yet.

November 19, 2009 - It's just a day full of Lost news, isn't it? We've got word, folks. Word on the Season 6 premiere date! ABC has announced that Lost will begin its big final endrun on Tuesday, February 2nd at 9pm!Make note of the date, and the day change. Lost will now be a Tuesday show. We know that V will be taking a long hiatus after next week's episode, but it seems as though these two shows would make a great primetime pair.
The night, Feb 2nd, will kick off with a recap special at 8pm, followed by the two-hour premiere at 9pm. The press release also noted all the series regulars, with some new names added to the bunch. Nestor Carbonell (Richard Alpert), Jeff Fahey (Frank Lapidus) and Zuleikha Robinson (Ilana) are now all officially part of the gang.

November 19, 2009 - We've all been chomping at the bit for any news items relating to Lost's final season, especially if it has to do with the dead rising from the grave. Or at least beloved actors returning to the show for a final hurrah, be they ghosts or part of an alternate timeline or what have you.Lost producer Carlton Cuse (@CarltonCuse) sent out a Twitter item today which read:
"We are very happy to welcome Rebecca Mader back to LOST. Just saw some dailies of her new work. Awesome."
Mader, of course, played the doomed DHARMA child Charlotte - the red-headed archeologist doted upon by Jeremy Davies' Daniel Faraday.
