Are they really worse than Simple Plan and Good Charolotte?

I don't think they are shit but I think that in a musical world where Radiohead and Tool are accused of being stuck up their own asses, people need to look at Dani Filth. The guy needs a glass stomach. He's pretty far up himself.

I think Slipknot's new album rules, it's very very good. Rubin appears to have shown them what they're capable of and they pulled it off. It's a shame they needed Rubin's help but the outcome is a great album to add to the great music that graces this Earth.

I know various types of people that love great Rock and like Slipknot. I know idiots who like them. I've never met a Cradle Of Filth fan who wasn't domineering and attempting to be high and mighty.

I kind of Like COF, they're not the best band around, but they're ok.

I can tolerate them. I don't think their shit.

I think if Dani Filth realised he could try to sing aswell as screech then he would actually be a GOOD singer. But he chooses to call himself unique and cram his head up his own rectum. So **** him.

Yes, they are, at least these bands have a beat in their songs.

Cradle of filth is nothing more then noise, there is no rythm, no beat, it's just noise. And the guys voice is THE WORST SINGING VOICE I've ever heard in my life. it sounds like someones killing a cat with a kangaroo. They truley are the worst band in the world. It gives me a headache to listen to them for more then 20 seconds, just sounds like a bunch of static and power tools.

Keep in mind I'm no pussy when it comes to loud music, I listen to Pantera, Deicide, Slayer, Morbid Angel, Soul Fly, ect. Cradle of filth truley is horrible, in every way.

But see, to me when I listen to certain Morbid Angel songs such as "Enshrined By Grace", all I hear is "Gragragragragragra ohrrrrrrrr".

I don't diss the music because that is what some people like. Cradle Of Filth are by no means the worst band in the world, especially with bands like Story Of The Year, Taking Back Sunday and all those other different name/same sound emo bands around.

The lyrics in Morbid angel may be gibberish, I don't listen to that music for the lyrics. It's the music, the actualy instrumental part of the song that is good. They have a rhythm, and a beat, which is more then I can say for Cradle of shit.

And while the lyrics for Morbid Angel may not be comprehendable, they at least dont SOUND terrible. You can at lesat tell it's a human being at the mic, and not a cat being killed with a flame thrower.

I completely agree but I think Morbid Angel's lead singer (don't know his name) and Dani Filth are two opposite ends of the spectrum. One sounds like a cat getting raped the other sounds like a bear being raped. No offence meant to either band, I just think neither are candidate for worst band ever.

but atleast Morbid Angel attempt to make a coherant sound with their music...and THEN layer it with dodgy vocals, COF have dodgy music and dodgy vocals.

and i mean, i have an album made entirely with varying pitches of white-noise. and i still consider COF to be sh*te

I like Slipknot, my dad's friend went on tour with them as a support band.

I don't care what other people think of my taste in music or the bands I like or whatever. You know its amazing how many people here say that they don't care what other people think, and then take offence at the slightest thing somebody says.
