From anime seniors to anime newbies

Oh I have another thing to suggest concering manga! Check your local library. I know our library here in Dension, IA has gotten quite a few manga...and if a town that small can get it I'm sure the larger libraries have several too!

That's a easy way of getting it. Though you don't really have much choice in waht to read. 🙂

My crappy library is to poor to have any manga.

my library is useless its too far away too but i hav enough borin mangas to put me to sleep and few to wake me up again!!

Haha! Well, the pic has nearly everything I own in it. That little bookshelf keeps most of it cept the VHS tapes and.the SPIRAL dvds which I got after the pic was taken....and..well, that's about all that's not on it! 😛

Oh lucky you!! The library around here doesn't have much and the selection is very limited, but its better than nothing!!

I didn't think this had anything to do with whether or not you spoke/read japanese at all. I don't think that is a factor in it 😉

oh I've just thought of some more animes that are good:
X, Paranoia Agent, Blue Seed, Blue Gender, Sorcerer on the Rocks, Tenjho Tenge, Burst Angel, Macross Plus, and Battle Skipper

I don't know if your libraries do this or if you've already tried it but sometimes you can order books from other library systems than your own. Also, my library's catalogue doesn't always show all of the mangas that it actually has. Sometimes i have to combine the title with the words "manga" or "graphic novel" or sometimes I just search "manga" and browse to find it. I hope this could help.

My library just started getting manga...so I pretty much know all they have. And yeah...I try graphic novel and manga.
