What kind of SW TV series would you like to see?

Nah, I bet it's gonna be about Jedi... I fear greatly for a Highlander type of series about Jedi...

yeah post ep3 along the lines of Jedi Acadamey...though i suppose Hamill wouldnt do it...shame i thought he looked cool with a beard in that movie he did a looooooooooong time ago called Slipstream

Pre-episode I gives a tv maker the greatest amount of freedom: Jedi goign all around the universe solving problems, fighting monsters. It's like an X-Files avant la lettre.... or something, kinda bizarre when you think about it...

i am actually kinda stoked about this now.

as long as it doesnt involve the saga, it wont put a dent in the films.

if it sucks, it will just fade into obscurity like the ewok films, that wookie family christmas special, the old cartoons....all that corny stuff few even acknowledge...so its all good then imho

Id like to see the han sold chronicals. A series based on all the s**t han used to get up to, it would be removed from the films but great to watch.

If it could be done right though, with all the actors, post ep6 would be great.

i agree with those who don't want the tv series to touch the storyline. i think the movies and ALL THE CHARACTERS in the movies are there to tell a specific story.... LUCAS' story. GL has said the TV series will belong to someone else, and i would hate to see rubbish like those NJO novels. Even some of those early post_RTJ books. I mean, fighting the remnants of the empire or a ressurected empror is just STUPID!!!!!

by the same token, a post EPIII, pre EPIV story would just have too many limitations. It would be inherintly depressing. it just wouldnt be a good show

i think an OLD REPUBLIC tv series would just be the pimpest thing imaginable! the creators would have so much freedom, they could really do something creative. THey could delvelop their OWN storyline, instead of just having a punch of crappy tie-ins to the "chosen one" storyline in the movies.

i would be very suprised if the series was anything OTHER than an old republic series

I would allow for the largest amount of room for the creators of the series, I agree.

I think Old Republic would be cool, as long as they didn't just rip off the OT. That's the only fault I had with KOTOR, it just smelled too much like OT. With all the Hutts and the life-debt wookie, and the yoda-like jedi master. Too many similarities to the OT. If they can do an ORIGINAL Old Republic themed show, that would be awesome.

I think that GL okaying the use of characters and ideas in the post ROTJ novels was a set up for possible avenues to be ventured by GL in the future someday...
Now, someday is here....

is the tv series for real then or is it just rumers?? If the project was started after completion of ROTS, im guessing it would be another 3 year wait.
