My introduction to the "sad" thread was triggered by the way that you seemed to be thinking yesterday. Your sadness gave me the idea to ask other people why they are sometimes sad.
After all even if m!$hA is right and people are often just sad because that is the mood they are in, I think that every time that we are sad there has GOT to be a reason for it.
I was just wondering what these reasons might be.

You know when you are super-hungry and you get up in the middle of the night and make a sandwich and then go and see whats on Tv and it's like 3am and you switch on the tube and a movie you want to see has been on for 10 mins or so and you have missed the start and nothing else is on so you either have to watch a movie that you missed the beginning of or watch shit or sit in the dark.
That makes me sad.

I just used Clovie's name as the trigger that made me think about sadness in general.

If life in general is making you sad then you are depressed and should go and see a doc.
We all...at some time or another, feel down but this should always be a temporary event that goes away the next time you see the beautiful face of your girlfriend or your boyfriend or you watch a glorious sunset !
Life is a fantastic thing that is there - just like Pandora's box - to rummage about in until you find the good stuff along with the bad stuff.
If you cannot see the good stuff then you are REALLY sad !
