Obviously you do not know that the martial artist was said to have mastered allot of different kind of martial art's...so what batman knows he can apply in the real world...I do not on only see the martial artist winning the battle with a weapon simply because of his art but for the share fact that the martial artist is a great deal smarter than your gorilla/vine shouting friend. The analogy used a real world martial artist unprepared fighting a gorilla. I don't care how many martial arts a man knows unarmed he is dead against a silverback gorilla. Armed with a rock or a stick, and he is still dead. A man's brain is no good to him if it's smeared across the ground in several pieces. If you think the martial artist is going to win in any way, shape or form short of for some inexplicable reason stumbling upon a rifle or something akin to a rifle then you are mistaken.
