It doesn't matter what the base level of the enhanced was. It matters only what the final level is. Your assumption that Spider-Man is only 15x faster than skinny wimpy clumsy ol' teenaged boy that he was before his transformation into a metahuman is silly imo.
I'd drag up my analogy of 15-40x speed and reflexes of a normal healthy human male who engages in regular exercise, with the addition of precognitive sense vs the highest level of speed a non-superempowered peak human male can obtain, but my post has disappeared off the face of the earth.

Figuring out a way to beat a gorilla fast enough before he kills you is one thing, being able to execute that method and having the resources availible to you is another. The martial artist has little chance of doing either.
The ordinary silverback gorilla kills the martial artist before he has time to think of a plan unless he inexplicably stumbles upon a firearm (luck/plot device) in the middle of the jungle. End of story.
Obviously you do not know that the martial artist was said to have mastered allot of different kind of martial art's...so what batman knows he can apply in the real world...I do not on only see the martial artist winning the battle with a weapon simply because of his art but for the share fact that the martial artist is a great deal smarter than your gorilla/vine shouting friend. That is why the martial artist wins....the artist is just too smart....🙂
So if you guys are trying to compare spiderman to this gorilla this would mean that spiderman has the brain capasity of 3 year old baby 😆

The question was WITHOUT a weapon.
Anyways the martial artists DOES have it easier, because the gorilla/ bear in question, doesn't leap high in the air, stick to walls, have precog, etc.
