Villain For Spider-Man 3?

To be fair though, IMDB sees a true thing about Dr. Curt Conners being cast, and Dunst says that...you wouldn't think that Conners would be nothing, when you hadn't heard of the other people being cast yet. That was more than a good assumption on their part.

As for this Venom thing, I don't know. I can only see Topher playing Ult. Brock/Venom with CGI and possibly someone else doing the voice, or then manipulating the voice like how they did with Grievous in Episode 3 (which sounded bad, but hopefully they won't make the mistake of having Venom hack and cough), Mysterio, and possibly Electro. I don't think he can play anyone else, so I think its a safe assumption on our part to say that he's either one of those 3.

It's a case of once bitten,twice shy for me regarding Dunst.Lizard and Black Cat in SM-2.How wrong can you be???

I wouldn't believe the lord's prayer out of that girl's mouth.Much less her so called spoilers.

I wouldn't even believe her claim of Sandman,except that's already been confirmed by Sony.

yea the year is drawing to a close, I can't wait till Christmas, maybe they will announce it on Christmas as a Christmas present lol

Since filming starts in january,we should know before then.

We always know the villains before filming starts.Even though they've filmed a few scenes already.The proper schedule starts in january I hear.

yes, yes it would be Green Goblin II...IF the Spider-Man movies are exactly true to its comic book origin. Which is not the case. Your general audience will not really like to see the same villain again. But your comic nerds do want to see this GG2. Im absolutely positive that these comic book movies appeal to the average people, so theyll change it abit, a possibility is making Harry Hobgoblin. Ya never know, Sam Raimi is behind the wheel

I think having him as Hobgoblin is not such a bad idea

It has a side effect in both ways...

The Good side: 1) Brand new villain
2) Not boring, because its a new villain
The Bad side: 1) the Fans, they are going to kill Sam Raimi
2) Once Sam is dead, no more SM movies...

Ugh...I'm sick of this discussion. Do you honestly think if you make the Green Goblin costume orange instead of green, that's a new villain? No people. The audience won't see it as anything exciting and new just because of a color change. Hobgoblin and Green Goblin are virtually the same. They have a different costume and different personalities, but not a single one of you can't say "a goblin on a glider throwing pumpkin bombs is exciting when compared to a goblin on a glider throwing pumpkin bombs"

Raimi is not stupid. He is not going to do this move people. Think. This is what he accomplishes by making Harry the Hobgoblin in Spider-Man 3:

1. Desecrates TWO classic characters, which he pisses off comic fans because of.
2. Attracts no audience because they want something new and exciting, and look above for this explanation.
3. Wastes the potential of using a wide variety of other villains, ranging from Electro to christ, even Kraven.

Do you HONESTLY think he will go "Well, the fans want to see Green Goblin II kick some ass, so the hell with the money aspect"???

Ok now. I can see where you guys are skeptical about Topher being Venom. I can see where you guys think that naturally since he alluded to the fact that Harry will become a goblin, and that he does in the books, that he logically should, even though, as in the case of Batman Begins with the Joker card as well, it does not necessarily state that you MUST do that just because you alluded to it, after all look at Leia and Luke's kiss in Empire, do you think Lucas didn't think afterwards that he should make them brother and sister, not before that? No. See. But COME ON people, don't think that because Topher hasn't been confirmed as a villain, that we're getting Green Goblin 2 and Sandman as the main villains for SM3, and that Topher will play bag boy #2.
