The ONLY good thing there is that the action is bigger in it than in SM-2,because SM-2 had mind blowing action.

This doesn't look good for the villains either.Harry and Sandman need to be done with decent screen time,and god knows what's happening with Topher Grace's character.

I'll say this,it doesn't look good for a Venom story if they're focusing even more on Peter.One villain barely get's enough time as it is.

You want confirmation on casting and villains and other major announcements,then go to Sony people.SONY!!!!

When someone working on the movie gives the general spoiler free theme of the movie,yeah that's not something that warrants a major announcement 😉

Man, more MJ wow, I was right lol. Anyway, Venom ain't looking good now lol. Harry and Sandman is who I see. Or if they make Harry not a goblin then I would guess Topher as Hobby and Sandman.

Omg. And they're going to have 3-3.5 villains in this? Yet it's all about Peter? Omg.

These statements actually make little sense. How can we be focusing almost exclusively on Peter, and yet have "bigger action" than 2? Think about it.

You know, the more time passes and the more I hear, the less interest I have in this project anyways. This really, really just does not sound like a mix of things I'd want to see.

Spoiler free? Tons of Mary Jane and Peter stuff, the story focuses much more on Peter than Spider-Man...those aren't spoilers? Its telling you parts of the story we'll see. But because everything is argued with "you can't trust it unless its from Sony", as I was saying, we can't trust this guy because he isn't a Sony representative saying anything and its not on Sony's website. I'm just using your own arguments guys, I never made up those rules. If it applies to everyone else, it applies to the things you guys say as well.

Because you don't know what is going to be happening with Peter and MJ.MJ could be pregnant for all you know *shudders at that thought*

It's the same as saying the action scenes are bigger and better.You could argue that you now know you'll see something bigger than the train fight.

They'd better. That's one hell of a boring waste of time if they don't. Goblin promotes no excitement whatsoever and Sandman is a piece of crap character compared to some others like Electro or even Shocker.

I am, but I mean, if Sandman is going to be the only other villain... I mean I would still love the fact that Harry is a goblin, but I just want something else other than Sandman.

Ok think about this logically for a minute.Where is the screen time going to come from to do three villains properly???

We've already been told by an insider that they are going to focus alot more on Peter.Peter not Spider-Man.

Now Sandman as far as I know,has no connection to Peter.Harry on the other hand does.

Then we have Topher Grace,whom we don't even know is playing a good or bad guy.But let's assume he's bad.Could he be working for Harry??? Could he be some kind of experiment Harry tries out,you know he pays some guy to undergo something.Which transforms him into a super menace.

I'm not even going to speculate which villain he could be transformed into.We're just doing a what if scenario here.

To me anyway,that seems more plausible than getting Eddie Brock who must:

1.Develop a hatred for Spider-Man
2.Introduce a symbiote
3.Have it bond with Brock
4.Then start the whole Venom Vs Spidey thing.

All that will happen with Harry,Sandman,the Peter/MJ stuff etc???

I just don't see it happening myself.

I really think Topher's character is connected to Harry,in connection with his quest to destroy Spider-Man.

I'm just seriously hoping Raimi isn't stupid enough to make it a Peter/MJ/Harry as Goblin/Sandman story. That'll suck, hard, in every way.

I'm not saying that's the entire story.But probably a damn big chunk of it.The only factor we're leaving out here is Topher.Assuming he's a villain that is.

Double trouble.Meaning two villains.

Then he says: "Topher Grace is an extraordinarily talented actor and will be perfect for the complexities of the role we are developing."

That says nothing about villain.Merely that his role is complex.

That double trouble remark knocks any three villain theorey right on the head.Which is good,since we're getting lots of Peter 🙄

So Sandman and who else? I mean Harry should do something right? So you think it is GG2 and Sandman? But then what about Topher? errr Tell us Sony please!
