alright...TFP and i have come up with a very plausible villain for spiderman 3. Chameleon!...why? It's been said that the villain will be using prosthetics and has to cut off his hair to play the part. Villains in the spiderman games are ruled out, so that eliminates scorpion and vulture, as well as venom as he was never a likely contender at this point. It wont be hobgoblin, or else they eouldnt have brought in a new actor. the villain is a male...so...the only reasonable villain left would be Chameleon....

Now comes the question of "Why Chameleon and not a different villain?"
Well, if anyone has been paying attention to the pattern that has taken place involving the Spider-Man films and the video game adaptions then you will notice a very significant item. (Besides Green Goblin and Doc Ock) No character that has been featured in the games has been featured in any of the films and most certianly won't be in the near future. For instance, Black Cat was once included in the original script of Spider-Man 2 and then x'd out, then what? Black Cat was featured in the video game adaption of Spider-Man 2 and was not included in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 even after some fans' theories of this character being one of the villains.
Short list of characters that were featured in the video game adaptions:
1. Scorpion
2. Shocker
3. Mysterio
4. Black Cat
5. Vulture
6. Rhino
Characters that Thomas Hayden Church is obviosuly not going to play in Spider-Man 3:
1. Hobgoblin
2. Venom
3. Lizard
4. Green Goblin 2
5. Electro
6. Kraven
7. Carnage
8. Kingpin
A few others....
Plus Chameleon fits very perfectly into the pattern of classic villains that Raimi has chosen thus far.
Still any doubts out there?
I think spidey should have a smart villian, one that can pretty much wear him out until he manages to find a way to beat him of course. I mean I like venom but it is too early in the series to put him in. Of course it should matter about too early cause green goblin was NOT spidey's first villian. At least doc ock came before green goblin.

Venom a smart villain?? sry bud, but if ur talking intellect, venom's as dumb as a brick. and he's already had 2 villains who r like, friggen geniuses, so i think its time for a stupid one
