Villain For Spider-Man 3?

I think it would be nice to have venom...but there is not enough time in a movie to introduce venom.....unless it shows a flashback of JJ's son you know like John Jameson himself is actually telling how it came with him and it left him for a stronger host such as eddie brock....The movie could then show how eddie is a block head and how parker kepts getting moved up. I think the perfect actor could be brock lesnar as EB. You know SP-2 shows how hard hes has it as a human being now it should show him getting recognition from JJ and that way EB could look like and dumbass lighting rod

harry is hobgoblin

1. Venom cannot be introduced with Sandman, even though he could be introduced in one film now that the MJ aspect is toned down a lot, there is so much more time to fill.

2. You cannot say that Raimi stays true to comics, and then say he will make Harry the Hobgoblin. Pick. And pick the first one, cause that's true. If by some odd, messed up chance, he makes Harry the Hobgoblin - this does not count for Green Goblin 2, which still is not gonna happen if he's a smart businessman and storyteller - then I will personally concede to all of you and hail you kings/queens of the universe, and will ban myself from this forum.

3. Topher Grace has not yet been confirmed to play a villain, but you can automatically rule out many of them due to appearance and time length and so forth. For instance, Topher will not be playing Carnage, because they haven't introduced Venom yet. Also, Topher will not be playing Rhino. See what I mean? The most logical choices for Topher to play, villain-wise, are Chameleon or Mysterio. Possibility of others, but he will not be someone like Scorpion, who needs to be insanely built.

4. I'm done arguing, my point will most likely not get across to many anyway, and its 2 in the morning, and I've been having too much on my mind to think about including the t.l. thing and a death, so I think I'll retire for tonight.

I think the most they would do is have the black suit in part 3 and that is really pushing it. If you look at it from a money making view, The black suit could be in part 4 and venom in part 5. That way 6 would be venom becoming a good guy leading to his own movie. They are giving wolverine his own movie, so why not venom?

I have always liked sandman and I'm sure he will look great in part 3. I think your are right that they can make anybody look good. 🙂

ya that would suck, anyway i really hope Harry is the hobgoblin because i like hobgoblin better than green and Harry is my fav character so they better not make him think well my dad was gg so thats y peter killed him.that would suck. anyway i will be glad as long as he is a villain (goblin)

Now comes the question of "Why Chameleon and not a different villain?"

Well, if anyone has been paying attention to the pattern that has taken place involving the Spider-Man films and the video game adaptions then you will notice a very significant item. (Besides Green Goblin and Doc Ock) No character that has been featured in the games has been featured in any of the films and most certianly won't be in the near future. For instance, Black Cat was once included in the original script of Spider-Man 2 and then x'd out, then what? Black Cat was featured in the video game adaption of Spider-Man 2 and was not included in the upcoming Spider-Man 3 even after some fans' theories of this character being one of the villains.

Short list of characters that were featured in the video game adaptions:

1. Scorpion
2. Shocker
3. Mysterio
4. Black Cat
5. Vulture
6. Rhino

Characters that Thomas Hayden Church is obviosuly not going to play in Spider-Man 3:

1. Hobgoblin
2. Venom
3. Lizard
4. Green Goblin 2
5. Electro
6. Kraven
7. Carnage
8. Kingpin
A few others....

Plus Chameleon fits very perfectly into the pattern of classic villains that Raimi has chosen thus far.

Still any doubts out there?
