I would like to point out that Venom is not spider-man's arch nemisis, yes he is one of his strongest foes and has turned his life upside down, but the archnemisis title belongs to norman osborn. Why do you think they put him in the first film?
And the only way they could do a good film with Venny in it is to either make it 3 hours long, but whos gonna sit there for 3 hours. or put it into 2 films.
Just because Venom is more dangreouse than the hobgoblin dosent make it nessercary to put him in spidey 3 out of the blue. scorpian is more dangerouse than the hobgoblin but you don't see anyone saying he should be in the film because he is more dangerouse. (personaly I would like to see scorpian in spidey 3 along with Green goblin/hobgoblin but it is more likley to be the lizard.)

I personally like Venom... infact, because of Venom, I've collected all first symbiote appearances just because the story is very interesting to see Spider-Man fight others who are stronger and possess the same abilities.
But I hate all Venom fanboys that come on to these boards and constantly say, and hope, that either Venom or Carnage will be in S3...
It makes the characters seem overrated, and makes it seem that the only reason they're in the comics in the first place is because Marvel wanted to make a quick buck from the franchise.
For someone like me, who has read and has respected ol' Spider-Man classics for a long while now, it's okay to like Venom, Carnage, and now, Toxin, as long as you realize that, "The New Kids On the Block" can never take the "True Spotlight" from the original "Old School" characters...
As for the Venom/Symbiote fanboys, who usually show little or no Spider-Man knowledge period, you can all just DIE because you're not just pissing people off, but you're also ruining Venom's name, more so than it already has been.

Iv always considered Venom a classic character, probally because I grew up with the cartoon before discovering spider-man came from comics, but he mainly seems classic to me because he's one of those new characters that isnt realy crap or has no future. look at overide he didnt last 5 minuits.
