Its still being racist. And the joke wasnt funny, therefore it wasnt worth getting into the shit you did.

People it's not like I made up the joke. I was told it by another person in my class.

Im not at all racist, unless it's against racist people themselves but I find racist jokes (whether there about said Jews or anything related to myself) ammusing. Take it lightly, I doubt very much it was meant anything about. Ive heard that joke with ' Jew' being replaced with alot of things. Its old, get over it.

you can tell jokes...just make sure they aernt atached to a stereotype or ethnicity...

Just understand that it was a stupid thing regardless of the teacher's religion (if he were jewish, you'd be in much deeper).

No - i'm not in head-biting mode: and this isnt intended to be some sort of hunt to make you look bad.

So assuming you know a little about the holocaust you can see that this is not a simple "racist" joke. (not that i think that racist humor is acceptable, but we wont go there)

This isn't "Jews are mean" - hahha stereotyping; this is "6 million people died in the worst possible way" ha ha ha!

No, I think he got mad because I was the least likely person in the class to do something like that, but I like my english and he likes me. If he were jewish. He would forgive me.
