A Perfect Circle

I don't know if anyone else here likes both a Perfect Circle and John Lennon, but Perfect Circle did a cover song of his song Imagine, and suprisingly I thought it was good(I really never like cover songs). Wow, excellent stuff, up to APC's usual high standards.

It's surprisingly good. I don't think that it can equal the original because that was John Lennon's marquee solo song, and it is so entwined with the Lennon mystique.

But it does what a good cover should do: it does the song and adds a little of uniqueness to it (like No Doubt's "Ob-Li-Di, Ob-Li-Da"😉. It has the APC thing to it, but then it still holds the simplicity of the original. It is a little more polished and a little more complicated (the original was a simple piano and Lennon's voice), but it is a very good cover

this song has been doing quite well in Detroit...

Great song, I liked the way they completely personalised it. It would have been very easy to make a much simpler version.
