I guess. I've never heard of anything like that before.

We just have 2 semesters. Fall and Spring.

Winter and Summer?? New to me.

When does the Winter Break start?

SO yall don't have Spring Semester? So the beginning of the year is like one big break, like our summer break?

Do you like school in the summer?

nope, no spring semester.
for me, I get off for the winter in mid December and I don't go back until around April
summer school's ok, there's less people running around

So is the break from Dec. to April equivalent to a Summer's Break for you?

public school wasn't precisely like this, no, but this still wasn't a resounding shock to me either. It flowed pretty much like this except my vacation was in the summer instead of winter.
