Good Movie...i was very excited thruout the whole movie.....the only thing stopping me from saying..its great...they took too many liberties with it....but i understand they have to...but it could have been a great movie....at least it was very comic book like....i cant wait to see it on the big screen......maybe the finished product will surprise me

do you guys think the whole meteorite thing could have easily been replaced with the C-Synth and Omega Red since both had the exact same theme and involved Logan quitting Team X?
Red should have been in the end of the 2nd movie and in the 3rd movie. These two should have been the weapon X movies.
This first one should have been about his life before weapon X, Logan has a great story imo and should have been told the right way but Fox just wants to make money and doesnt care about a good plot.

Would the movie have been better, if it was about Wolverine, Mav and Creed's final mission as team-x to get the C-Synth? Yes. I would have been about a million times better.
I would just like to know how you can watch Iron Man or the Dark Knight, and still make X-Men Origins Wolverine. ****ing studio heads, its like they learned nothing from X3. I'd love to see the movie Gavin Hood envisioned before FOX started interfering and sent Richard Donnar in. Seriously though why hire an award winning director / writer if you aren't going to let him do what he wants?

IMO so far this is worst than X3. Hood did good and I agree its all Foxs and the writers fault.
Latest X-Men Origins: Wolverine Updates
Source: Superhero Hype! April 3, 2009
It's been an interesting week for 20th Century Fox and its May 1st release, X-Men Origins: Wolverine. As you may know by now, an unfinished workprint of the film was leaked onto the internet. We've debated whether we should even mention the leak, as it in turn gets people to search for it, but with the news so widespread we're pretty sure you've heard about it elsewhere by now. We do think, however, that it's important to post Fox's official statement on the matter:
Last night, a stolen, incomplete and early version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine was posted illegally on websites. It was without many effects and had missing scenes and temporary sound and music. We immediately contacted the appropriate legal authorities and had it removed. We forensically mark our content so we can identify sources that make it available or download it. The source of the initial leak and any subsequent postings will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law — the courts have handed down significant criminal sentences for such acts. The FBI and MPAA are also actively investigating the crime. We are encouraged by the support of fansites condemning piracy and this illegal posting and pointing out that such theft undermines the enormous efforts of the filmmakers and actors and, above all, hurts fans of the film.
In related news, reports came out last year that director Gavin Hood and Fox Studio head Tom Rothman clashed about the film, but Hood tells Risky Biz Blog that it was never like that. You can watch the video below:
So, how we cant DL it because its stealing but FOX can steal on a million dollar scale and make shit movies. Funny how that works.

Tom Rothman Isnt that the same guy who hates the X-Men franchise? and since X3, Xmen movies have been shit so far.

Well in the work print, the Team X mission is all about finding some meteorite chunk to get an ingredient to make adamantium. I just think it would have made more sense to have them trying to find the C-Synth since Carbonadium is just a ****ed up failed attempt to make adamantium in the first place. You could still show Striker's ruthlessness and Victor and Wade's cruelty and also create a way dramatic opening sequence since Red's tentacles really make him much more of a monster than any other character and seemingly make him really fill a room. The scene with Sabes, Maverick, and Wolvie from the animated series comes to mind.
Caught the trailer when I went to the theater last weekend, and this looks even better a story idea than the last two 2 by far. I always felt the trilogy was good but let down by the middle chapter being so weak.
So does this mean we will get more 'Origins" movies about other popular Mutant characters?
