Well, it's never too late to watch. 🙂

And although I do think Broly's a bit overrated, I can see why he'd be your favorite movie villain.

I do admit that Broly's overrated but I just find him to be a better villain than Cooler. Some will agree with me & some won't.

I think Broly is a better villain than Cooler and also, the music from the first Broly movie was badass.

Yes, I loved the music from that movie & plus, Broly whooped a whole lot of ass in all of his films, especially in the first one. He made the planet they were on look like more of a dump than it already was.

I was just thinking, the Buu saga would've been better if Super Buu was the Buu we started out with from the beginning & if Gohan was the hero of the series (i.e the one to defeat Buu & not Goku).

Yeah, that would have been better.

Yep, I just don't see how Vegeta couldn't have become a Super Saiyan 2 since his SON was killed. Akira wasn't thinking there.

Yeah, they weren't. Since Goku went Super Saiyan over of the death of his best friend, it would have been nice if Vegeta went Super Sayain 2 over the death of his son.

He didn't have the power probably. Gohan had the whole hidden potential and all that. I mean it took Vegeta to get that power upgrade from Babidi and seven years of training to even achieve ssj2. I think Vegeta should have gotten the ability himself though but the coolest part about that was Babidi wasn't able to control Vegeta.

And if you think about it Gokou had very little to do with defeating Buu. Vegeta came up with the idea, Mr. Satan actually got people to give energy, and Dende wished Gokou back to full energy. Gokou just had the only attack capable but didn't think to use it.

I doubt that's true. I believe that Vegeta was probably a SSJ2 before getting the Majin upgrade. Goku trained & even reached SSJ3 so I'm quite sure Vegeta could at least reach the SSJ2 form. The Majin upgrade just made him even more powerful whilst in that form.

I know that Goku didn't come up with the idea & all that, I just think that it would've been cool if Gohan would've came up with some kind of new attack that kills off Buu but it'd have to be Super Buu as he'd completely annilhate Kid Buu.

Exactly, Akira didn't seem to think that one out. I would've loved to see what Vegeta would do. Instead, he stands there like an idiot for a minute & then gets smacked to the side & almost gets killed only to be saved by Gohan who loses the use of one of his arms. I would've loved to see Super Perfect Cell fending off TWO Super Saiyan 2's.

Yeah, that fight would have been awesome.

Vegeta would probably have been flaunting his SSJ2 form to Gokou if he had achieved it not knowing Gokou had. Though that's assuming he kept the power after he died because he does go ssj2 against Kid Buu after he's no longer Majin. But it's never said the power goes down after they are released from it.

Yea it would have been nice to see Gohan actually win since he was suppose to be the strongest. Though I'd rather have Vegeta win something once. Gokou got to beat Freeza, Gohan got to beat Cell, Vegeta should have got to beat Buu. Not suggesting they make Vegeta the strongest. Just make it where Gokou doesn't come back..or doesn't get the chance to stay and win, Gohan was said to have got weaker anyways. So let Vegeta have a win against Fat Buu..Like he did against Fat Buu when he becomes all good and stuff before killing himself just with Buu actually staying dead.

Vegeta's arrogant & cocky but I don't think he'd be the one to go flaunting his new form around & showing everyone. He may have wanted to wait & see if Kakarot had achieved the form in which he never used it. Either that or he didn't see the need to use it at that time.

That could've worked. Maybe Trunks gets killed & Vegeta turns into a SSJ3 due to EXTREME anger at his young son being killed?

😐 No.

Hey, I'm just throwing ideas out there.

What would you want to have happened?

Vegeta went ssj2 as Majin not thinking Gokou could if I recall. And he surely didn't waste anytime flaunting his ssj abilities. He'd do it to Gokou if he could. I think the reason he wanted the power up from Babidi was that he hoped it would make him ssj2 and he'd get to fight and beat Gokou.

Nah I don't want Vegeta to go SSJ3 by his son dying...He should have stayed ssj2 and done it. Plus his self-sacrifice became meaningless when Buu reformed except to realize he cared for his wife and son even though he tried to deny it Gokou.

I'm sure he used the Majin charm to IMPROVE upon his SSJ2 capabilities. I doubt he'd even be boosted to FPSSJ2 capabilities if he didn't already have the form to begin with.

Super Saiyan 2 wouldn't be enough to defeat Majin Buu or even be able to match his power. We all saw what happened when SSJ2 Vegeta took on Kid Buu.

Kid Buu > Fat Buu by a whole lot. And I didn't mean have any other forms of Buu. Just have the final fight between Vegeta and Fat Buu with Vegeta fighting for somebody else besides himself like the fight they had except for Vegeta winning with his kamikaze attack.

Also what makes you think he could go ssj2 before the majin power up?

He trained hard, I believe he even had a new gravity room designed. Goku trained hard & even reached SSJ3, Vegeta trained for seven years just like Goku so it's safe to say he at least reached the SSJ2 form. I know he hadn't perfected it but I'm sure he at least reached the form.
